  • Publication number: 20240342027
Abstract: A medical transporter apparatus and methods, involving: a frame; at least one side-rail operably coupled with the frame; at least one lift member operably coupled with the frame; at least one actuator operably coupled with the at least one lift member, the at least one actuator configured to adjust an elevation of the frame by actuating the at least one lift member; a docking mechanism operable with the frame for facilitating docking of the frame in relation to an imaging apparatus; and a weighing mechanism, the weighing mechanism being at least one of operably coupled with the frame and integrated with the frame, whereby a patient is weighable, and whereby elevation of the frame is electronically adjustable.

  • Patent number: 11045633
Abstract: A cannula for connecting a medical device to a biological system is taught. The cannula includes a tissue engagement portion, preferably in the form of an annulus, to which a vacuum is applied through the cannula to attract and hold tissue of the biological system in an initial connection while an affixment device is applied to complete the connection. In addition to a working fluid conduit, comprising a main port, a working fluid passage and a working fluid port, and a port to apply the vacuum, the cannula can include a sensor port to allow sensing pressure or other characteristics of the working fluid at a point closely adjacent to the connection between the cannula and the biological system.

  • Publication number: 20190073184
Abstract: An isolation unit may include input pins to receive an electrical signal induced by ambient sound waves incident on an appliance in a powered-off state, one or more first transformers, connected to the input pins, to electrically isolate the induced electrical, one or more second transformers, connected to the first transformers, to provide a common mode choke function on the induced electrical signal, one or more inductors, connected to the one or more second transformers, one or more resistors, connected to the one or more inductors, wherein the one or more inductors and the one or more resistors are configured to limit an amplitude of a current of the induced electrical signal, and output pins, connected to the one or more inductors, to receive a modified electrical signal from the one or more inductors to propagate the modified electrical signal to a downstream cable.
