  • Publication number: 20230202255
Abstract: Please substitute the new Abstract submitted herewith for the original Abstract: A device for operating an active roll stabilization system of a vehicle is described, which active roll stabilization system has a roll stabilizer on at least one axle of the vehicle, which roll stabilizer is configured to adjust, by use of an electrically operated actuator, a degree of twist between lever arms of the roll stabilizer which act on different sides of the axle, in order to counteract a roll movement of the vehicle. The device is set up to determine which operating mode of a plurality of different operating modes of the roll stabilization system has been selected by a user of the vehicle. Further, the device is set up to operate the actuator as a generator, in order to recuperate electrical energy from a roll movement of the vehicle and/or from a roadway-induced movement of the vehicle, in a manner dependent on the selected operating mode.

  • Patent number: 10870367
Abstract: A storage system provides electrical power for driving a vehicle. The storage system has a first and a second storage module for storing electrical energy. The storage system includes a switching unit which is configured for connecting the first storage module and the second storage module in series for a charging operation and in parallel for driving the vehicle. The storage system includes a control unit which is configured to implement measures in order to reduce a difference between a state of charge of the first storage module and a state of charge of the second storage module in preparation for a parallel connection of the first storage module to the second storage module.

  • Patent number: 8517128
Abstract: A motor vehicle includes two drive assemblies in the form of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. For operating the motor vehicle at low speeds, preferably in an inner-city area, a fuel cell having comparatively small dimensions provides electric energy that is supplied to the electric motor directly and/or via an electric accumulator. In this way, the motor vehicle can be moved without emissions during the operation of the fuel cell with hydrogen. For operating outside of city areas, the internal combustion engine having an accordingly higher output is available. The fuel cell is arranged in the engine compartment of the motor vehicle together with the internal combustion engine.
