  • Patent number: 11967860
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums include detecting and eliminating a three-phase without neutral short-circuit in a load supplied by a power converter. After detecting the short circuit, the current at an output conductor for one of the three-phases is stopped and then resumed after a sufficient amount of current causes a downstream protection device of the faulty load to trip.

  • Patent number: 11963065
Abstract: Described herein are examples of a system that processes information describing movement of a vehicle at a time related to a potential collision to reliably determine whether a collision occurred and/or one or more characteristics of the collision. In response to obtaining information regarding a potential collision, data describing movement of the vehicle before and/or after a time associated with the potential collision is analyzed to determine whether the collision occurred and/or to determine one or more collision characteristic(s). The analysis may be carried out at least in part using a trained classifier that classifies the vehicle movement data into one or more classes, where at least some the classes are associated with whether a collision occurred and/or one or more characteristics of a collision. If a collision is determined to be likely, one or more actions may be triggered based on the characteristic(s) of the collision.

  • Patent number: 11934752
Abstract: A graphical user interface includes GUI elements configured for defining discretized base geometry data for a model of a physical system, receiving a first input representing a user instruction to add a perfectly matched layer to the model, receiving a second input representing the user selection of boundaries that define a base geometry, and receiving a third input representing extra geometry meshing instructions. Extra geometry line segment data is discretized representing an outward direction of a PML from the boundary according to the extra geometry meshing instructions. Weak form expressions representing a wave-related phenomena are formed based on received PML settings and physics settings parameterized using discretized base geometry data and discretized extra geometry data. Matrix data are generated based on the formed weak form expressions. A solution to a simulation of the wave-related phenomena of the model is generated based on the formed weak form expressions.

  • Publication number: 20230228247
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solution for a floating wind platform made of reinforced concrete for mass production, characterized by a geometric design providing a hydrostatic natural prestressing to the concrete, causing it to work under compression. The structural response of the platform for working in the most effective mode is improved, and the occurrence of fractures or cracks in the concrete is prevented, which reduces permeability and allows for reducing the rebar to be contained in the structure, also increasing operational safety. Furthermore, the invention has a system for anchoring the mooring lines to the structure in the form of a truss made of reinforced concrete which evenly distributes mooring stresses, minimizing prestressing in the high area of the platform, and increasing the area for distributing shear forces due to the change in section between the platform and the tower of the wind turbine.
