  • Patent number: 6688793
Abstract: The present invention relates to an applicator for a product comprising a body having an interior and a first end closed by an applicator wall. A piston is configured to move in a sealed manner along the interior of the body and to be driven by a drive mechanism configured to drive the piston towards the applicator wall to cause product to pass through the applicator wall. The applicator may further include a rod associated with the drive mechanism, the rod comprising a channel passing through at least a portion of the rod. The channel may have a first opening configured to open to the outside of the body and at least one second opening located between the piston and the applicator wall when the piston is located at a maximum distance from the applicator wall. The rod may also define at least one vent orifice.

  • Patent number: 6102257
Abstract: The invention relates to a closure capsule for a receptacle, the capsule being of the type comprising a body for fixing on the receptacle and provided with a dispenser orifice, and a cover suitable for pivoting between a closed position in which it covers said orifice to close it, and a fully-open position in which it uncovers said orifice to enable the substance contained in the receptacle to be dispensed. The cover is connected via a film hinge to a link member secured to the body of the capsule. The capsule body has a portion in relief, and the cover is shaped to go past said portion in relief by elastic deformation prior to reaching its fully-open position.

  • Patent number: 5435112
Abstract: Method for angularly positioning an axially asymmetrical sealing device relative to a flexible tube for dispensing a substance with a liquid-to-pasty consistency. A neck of the tube supports the sealing device and dispenses the substance through a dispensing channel. The tube is provided with indicia relative to which the sealing device is located on the tube. The tube is adapted to be filled via its open bottom with the sealing device in place and then sealed by flattening and heat sealing its end opposite the neck. The tube also includes at least one reference marking and the sealing device is located on the tube relative to the reference marking, this reference marking being printed on the tube concurrently with the indicia. The reference marking is also used when squeezing and heat sealing the open end of the filled tube.
