Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein relate generally to providing virtual reality (VR)-based therapeutic, user-specific treatment for substance use disorder (SUD). An exemplary method includes outputting, by a voice assistant of an audible output device of a VR device, a user prompt configured to trigger a dynamic session builder with a user experiencing SUD, analyzing, by the voice assistant, one or more vocal responses received from the user, inputting the one or more vocal responses into a generative AI model, generating, by the generative AI model based on the one or more vocal responses of the user received during the dynamic session builder, one or more immersive multimedia scenes and/or one or more audible statements, and outputting the one or more immersive multimedia scenes and/or the one or more audible statements.

Abstract: A clutch mechanism for a mechanical effector device includes a reel configured for winding and unwinding a tendon around the reel, and a base configured to connect to and rotate with a motor for rotation of the base around an axis. The reel and base are further configured for alignment with and rotation around a common axis of rotation. Inner ends of the reel and base mutually castellated and interlocking and the castellations are configured to ride up and over one another to allow independent rotation of the reel and base if an unresolvable rotation force is encountered.

The method includes detecting a set of physical attributes for each physical item among multiple different physical items, obtaining a velocity factor for each of the physical items, generating a mapping of a velocity contribution to various combinations of physical attributes among the set of physical attributes based on the velocity factor for each physical item and the set of physical attributes of that physical item, determining, based on the mapping, that the velocity factor of a particular physical item will increase in response to a change to one or more physical attributes of the particular physical item, and transmitting, to a source of the particular item, an electronic message that conveys the increase to the velocity factor of the particular physical item that will result from a selection of the one or more physical attributes of the particular item.
