  • Patent number: 12001471
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for lot classification are disclosed. In one example, a classification system for identifying lot listings receives a description for a listing in a publication system, identifies a string in the listing, identifies a quantity word or digit in the string, and converts an identified quantity word into digit form. A normalized string is tokenized to produce tokens, the tokenizing of the normalized string including splitting the normalized string into a series of substrings using a sequence of delimiters. For each substring, an additional split is performed by separating any digit from any other adjacent character, unless that character is another digit, and maintaining an internal character order of each split substring to produce a flattened list of tokenized tokens.

  • Patent number: 11922728
Abstract: Where an event is determined to have occurred at a location within a vicinity of a plurality of actors, imaging data captured using cameras having the location is processed using one or more machine learning systems or techniques operating on the cameras to determine which of the actors is most likely associated with the event. For each relevant pixel of each image captured by a camera, the camera returns a set of vectors extending to pixels of body parts of actors who are most likely to have been involved with an event occurring at the relevant pixel, along with a measure of confidence in the respective vectors. A server receives the vectors from the cameras, determines which of the images depicted the event in a favorable view, based at least in part on the quality of such images, and selects one of the actors as associated with the event accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11073579
Abstract: An NMR rotor comprises a receptacle for inserting a sample container into a homogeneous region of an NMR magnetic field with flux density B, the field vector of which in the homogeneous region extends in the vertical direction along a z-axis. The rotor passes through regions with inhomogeneous magnetic field components and a flux density gradient dB/dz when the sample container is introduced. The rotor includes at least two different materials, one with diamagnetic properties and another with non-diamagnetic properties. The different materials are arranged to be geometrically distributed in the rotor so that the magnetic force on the rotor under the effect of a product t of magnetic flux density B and flux density gradient dB/dz, the magnitude of which exceeds 1400 T2/m, either acts in the same direction as the weight force of the rotor or is smaller in magnitude than the weight force of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 9903923
Abstract: A transport device for transporting an NMR sample to the probe head (16) of an NMR spectrometer by means of a transport system (12) is characterized in that the transport device comprises a shuttle (15) adapted for use with a transport system. The transport system is structured to transport an HR-NMR sample spinner or an NMR MAS rotor (5). The shuttle includes a locking device for the NMR MAS rotor, the locking device being formed such that the NMR MAS rotor is released by unlocking the locking device and can be transferred to and received by the NMR MAS probe head. It is therefore possible to rapidly change from NMR spectroscopy of liquids to NMR spectroscopy of solids, and vice versa, simply by exchanging the probe head, without converting the transport system.

  • Patent number: 9500726
Abstract: An NMR probe head has a capacitor with a dielectric (5), which surrounds a cavity (15) in which a capacitor piston (7) is disposed. A sliding bush (9) has a through hole (16) in which a piston operating rod (8) extends. The piston operating rod (8) is connected to a piezo-electric actuator and to the capacitor piston (7) in such a way that it displaces the capacitor piston linearly when a sawtooth voltage is applied to the piezo-electric actuator. The sliding bush thereby applies braking friction to the piston operating rod during linear displacement of the capacitor piston and only allows the piston operating rod to slide through during the steep edges of the sawtooth voltage. This avoids the disadvantages of prior art, wherein the NMR probe head remains compact and the material cost and manufacturing complexity are reduced.
