Abstract: An animal therapy device that allows for the effective pinpoint covering of an injury on the animal and securely holds that covering in place over that injury without causing undue discomfort to the animal and without being easily removed or displaced by the animal. Disclosed embodiments have a base portion sized to encircle a first uninjured portion of the animal, and a covering portion sized to encircle an injured portion of the animal, the covering portion having a neutral position in which it is substantially planar and an engaged position in which it operably conforms around the injured portion of the animal; and, an elongated member extending from the base portion to the covering portion whereby the base portion operably holds the covering portion in place over the injured portion of the animal. A temperature therapy device may be operably secured to the covering portion, and two or more covering portions may be secured to different injured areas on the animal.

Abstract: An animal bed for receiving a therapy device therein. It has a first surface for allowing the animal to rest thereon, an opposite therapy surface for allowing the animal to be treated with a therapy device while resting thereon, and a chamber for detachably receiving the therapy device therein. In disclosed embodiments the therapy device is a magnetic therapy device, a temperature therapy device, a vibration therapy device, a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (“TENS”) device, a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (“PEMF”) device or a combination of one or more of these devices. The bed can include reinforced corners that may have surface ornamentation different from that of the main bed surface.

Abstract: Articles of apparel provide at least one protective characteristic. The articles of apparel may include a generally annular first element, such as a neckband, and a second, retractable element that is operably secured to the first element. The second element may provide at least one protective characteristic. The first element may (or may not) include a receptacle into which the second element is retractable.
