  • Publication number: 20240081802
Abstract: Various methods and devices are provided for allowing multiple surgical instruments to be inserted into sealing elements of a single surgical access device. The sealing elements can be movable along predefined pathways within the device to allow surgical instruments inserted through the sealing elements to be moved laterally, rotationally, angularly, and vertically relative to a central longitudinal axis of the device for ease of manipulation within a patient's body while maintaining insufflation.

  • Publication number: 20200334404
Abstract: The present invention is related to a computer implemented method for manipulating a numerical model of a 3D domain, said numerical model comprising geometrical entities such as layers, fractures, discontinuities, facies, etc., being identified as geometrical entities because they can be defined by its shape. The resulting data storage block is very large. The management of such large data bases or data storage block may be unaffordable as simple operations over one or more geometrical entities require the processing of the entire data base. The method provides an efficient management of the data base by a set of specific lists of indexing keys increasing the speed of access, for instance for writing and reading operations, for one or more determined geometrical entities.

  • Patent number: 10126447
Abstract: Oilfield and wellbore data may include geophone data (seismic) and airborne surveys such as microseep data, as well as fiber optic measurements collected utilizing a distributed sensing system. Continuous monitoring of various oilfield and wellbore properties, such as temperature, pressure, Bragg gradient, acoustic, and strain, and the like, may generate a large volume of data, possibly spanning into several terabytes. Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for visualizing a large volume of such measurements taken in an oilfield or wellbore without down-sampling measurement data.

  • Patent number: 6820083
Abstract: A relationship management system uses a database to store contact information related to a number of contacts and uses a number of folders, each of which reference one or more of the contacts within the database, to display contact information. Each of the contact information records stored within the database has an associated contact information type and a visibility attribute that defines the folders through which the associated contact information record is viewable. If the visibility attribute is set to a global value, the contact information record may be viewed by all folders. If the visibility attribute is set to a private value, the contact information record may be viewed only by specified folders.
