  • Publication number: 20100196351
Abstract: Novel PATE-like polynucleotides and polypeptides, are provided. Also described are splice-variants resulting in smaller polypeptides including five cysteine residues and capable of forming PATE-like polypeptide multimerse. The described polynucleotides were found to have a surprising expression profile, predominantly in the reproduction system and nervous system. Further provided are pharmaceutical compositions and methods for treatment of various diseases, in particular nervous system disorders, more specifically Alzheimer's disease.
