  • Publication number: 20210140577
Abstract: A connector arrangement for connecting heatable fluid lines including at least one first coupling component and at least one second coupling component. The first coupling component and the second coupling component being connectable to each other, and each including at least one first fluid line, at least one first fluid line interface, at least one first electrical conductor, and at least one first electrical interface. The second coupling component includes at least one second fluid lien, and at least one of the first and second coupling components includes at least one fluid line splitter.

  • Patent number: 5614143
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a hollow body such as a golf club head, having an external hollow body of molded thermal plastic material and an insert in the hollow by which it is possible to adjust the position of the center of gravity and the weight of the hollow body. An insert which is to remain within the hollow body is overmolded with a soft fusible metal to define with the insert a shape for the interior hollow of the hollow body. The hollow body of plastic material is overmolded over the combination of the insert and the overmolded core. The insert is then melted without melting the hollow body around it, and the melted insert material is removed from within the hollow body. For holding the insert and/or the fusible material core in place during the overmolding, either the insert is so shaped or a pin passes through the overmolded region defining an opening in the molded body through which the fusible material may be removed later, and that opening may be plugged.

  • Patent number: 5538395
Abstract: A pump rotor for displacing fluids includes a cover and a bottom part having blades. Both the bottom part and the cover are formed by injection molding of thermoplastic materials, preferably reinforced by fillers. The bottom part and the cover are joined together by welding. The walls of the bottom part and cover are sufficiently thin to replace similar metal parts and to provide maximum benefit of the skin effect resulting from the specific surface qualities of the molded material forming the bottom part and the cover. A mold for molding the bottom part and the cover is equipped with a cap which is angularly and vertically adjustable making it possible for a balancing weight to be fitted on the molded parts. The balancing weight is also angularly adjustable and has an adjustable mass.

  • Patent number: 4464324
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and method of using the device and plastic injection molding processes. A mold is provided utilizing a core inside the injection cavity of the mold. The core is prior to insertion of the mold subjected to a sub-freezing atmosphere. The core is then placed in the mold cavity wherein is injected the plastic material to mold the plastic part substantially surrounding the core. A thin film of air is formed around the "core" at the time of the injection of the plastic material thereby providing a substantial increase in surface finish to the plastic molded part. The core is made from a material which when heated will melt prior to the melting of the plastic part so that the core and part are removed from the cavity and subjected to a heating step thereby enabling removal of the core from the part.

  • Patent number: 4203466
Abstract: A non-return valve having a guided obturator, guided at a stem portion and at a head portion within a guiding member situated within a chamber. The chamber has a shoulder portion which acts as a seat for the obturator head, and supports an annular flexible seal. The annular flexible seal is L-shaped, with a flexible lip which conforms to the contour of the edge of the obturator head. The obturator stem has a cruciform cross section.

  • Patent number: 3995658
Abstract: A valve is provided for operation within a substantially cylindrical conduit section having an internal threaded portion adjacent a radially inwardly extending shoulder. A cylindrical apertured valve guide having external threads adjacent one end and an internal circumferential groove adjacent the same end is disposed in threaded engagement with the internal threaded portion of the conduit with the end of the guide abutting said shoulder. An annular sealing gasket is disposed on said shoulder within said groove to provide a valve seat for a spherical shaped valve member which is provided with a cylindrical side portion which is slidable within said cylindrical guide. The valve member also has an axially extending stem extending through an aperture in the opposite end of said valve guide and a spring surrounds said stem to bias the valve member into engagement with the seat.
