  • Patent number: 11477083
Abstract: An apparatus is provided. The apparatus including a plurality of network interfaces, including a first network interface and a second network interface. The apparatus also includes a processor with two or more independent processing units, including a first independent processing unit and a second independent processing unit. The apparatus further includes a memory having first instructions and second instructions stored thereon. Execution of the first instructions, cause the first independent processing unit to execute operations associated with a first operating system and communicate, via the first network interface, over a bi-direction communication, with one or more platform computing devices. Execution of the second instructions, cause the second independent processing unit to execute real-time operations associated with a second operating system and communicate, via the second network interface, with one or more computing devices each having one or more sensors thereon.

  • Patent number: 9208267
Abstract: A cloud computing system according to various embodiments can include a computing cloud comprising at least one processing unit and at least one database and a plurality of users in communication with the computing cloud. The computing cloud is configured to receive a request to select a product and define a model of an infrastructure system associated with the selected product. The computing cloud generates a first model of the infrastructure system including a first control system, and generates a second model of the infrastructure system including a second control system. The cloud computing simulates a first control operations of the first model of the infrastructure system in operation with the first control system and simulates a second control operations of the second model of the infrastructure system in operation with the second control system. The cloud computing compares results of the first and second control operations.

  • Publication number: 20030139898
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of synchronizing the actions of one or more devices using an RF time signal. In one embodiment, a clock in a device is synchronized to an RF time signal, and the clock is applied in a timed event performed by the device. The timed event may include determining a time of occurrence of an event associated with the device or starting a process performed by the device at a predetermined time. In an alternative embodiment, the method includes: coordinating a first timed event to be performed by a first device and a second timed event to be performed by a second device; receiving an RF time signal at the first and second devices; synchronizing a first clock in the first device and a second clock in the second device to a time indicated in the RF time signal; applying the first clock in the first timed event performed by the first device; and applying the second clock in the second timed event performed by the second device.
