  • Patent number: 12326372
Abstract: A methodology includes circulating a temperature-controlled and flow-rate-controlled medium through a container at a controlled flow rate and submerging a thermistor with the medium. With the thermistor submerged, a power output of the thermistor is determined and compared to a power criterion, after which classification of the thermistor occurs based on a comparison of the power output to the power criterion. The methodology can include submerging a reference thermistor within the medium and determining a reference power output of the reference thermistor with the reference thermistor submerged within the medium, the power criterion determined based on the reference power output.

  • Publication number: 20240403445
Abstract: Advanced cybersecurity systems and methods may provide enhanced security of critical infrastructure without the risks associated with traditional penetration testing. The systems and methods may model network vulnerabilities and simulate attack scenarios to identify potential security breaches. This supports the integration of generic rules and common properties, allowing for dynamic and scalable vulnerability analysis across complex network systems. Additionally, the systems and methods incorporate a multi-purpose fuzzer and an AI-driven Cyber Reasoning System (CRS) that autonomously detects and remedies software vulnerabilities based on predefined logic and pattern recognition. This comprehensive approach identifies existing vulnerabilities and predicts potential future threats by analyzing changes in network behavior and data flow.

  • Patent number: 12146794
Abstract: An apparatus and method for inspecting articles incorporating positive temperature coefficient resistors. The inspection apparatus includes a computing device, a power source, a housing, a support, and a thermal imager, each mounted within an interior volume of the housing. The inspection method includes receiving a first thermal image of the unpowered article mounted within the support and receiving a second thermal image of the powered article after an optimized time delay. The method further includes outputting a health indication of the positive temperature coefficient resistors based on a comparison of the first thermal image and the second thermal image.

  • Publication number: 20240265464
Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure is a system and method of processing healthcare payments through an individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement. The system and method may include receiving a transaction related to a qualified medical expense via a payment card, funding the transaction from a funding account to a member checking account associated with the payment card, transferring the amount from the member checking account to a seller associated with the qualified medical expense and recording an amount of the transaction into an invoice database. Each recorded amount corresponds to a generated invoice. The system and method further includes combining the generated invoices in the invoice database to calculate an aggregated employer invoice amount and debiting the aggregated employer invoice amount from an employer operating account. Thereafter, the system and method includes paying the aggregated employer invoice amount into a system batch account.

  • Patent number: 9951398
Abstract: Methods are provided for characterizing samples containing chemical elements such as rare earth elements, actinides, and heavy transition metals by treating the samples to form volatile complexes of the elements (e.g., ?-diketonate complexes or other organic ligand complexes of the elements) and then analyzing the complexes, for example, via gas-phase thermochromatography. Also provided are methods for separating and/or recovering such chemical elements. • Publication number: 20110115819
Abstract: A mobile wireless communications device includes a wireless transceiver, a display having an available display area and a memory. A processor cooperates with the wireless transceiver for downloading textual content having a plurality of words and storing the textual content in the memory. The processor also cooperating with the memory for generating successive fragments of the textual content, each fragment having at least one word. The successive fragments are searched to locate a longest fragment. A selected font in which the longest fragment can be displayed on the display area of the display is determined. Rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) is used for displaying on the display area of the display the successive fragments of the textual content in the selected font.
