  • Publication number: 20230007460
Abstract: An example method includes receiving, by a first application executing on a primary device and from a second application executing on the primary device, an indication of data to be transferred, wherein the primary device and the vehicle head unit are communicatively coupled via a wireless network connection operating in accordance with a wireless networking protocol; determining, by the first application and based on the indication of the data, an amount of data to be transferred; determining, by the first application, whether the amount of data satisfies a maximum packet size for the wireless networking protocol; responsive to determining that the amount of data does not satisfy the maximum packet size: segmenting the data into a plurality of packets, wherein each packet from the plurality of packets includes an amount of data that satisfies the maximum packet size; and sending the plurality of packets using the wireless network connection.

  • Publication number: 20200406745
Abstract: A fuel tank for receiving a fluid in a motor vehicle. The fuel tank includes an outer wall forming an internal space for receiving the fluid. At least one volume element is arranged in the internal space for receiving air, and an opening that is a gas-guiding line between the volume element and the environment of the tank is for changing the volume of the volume element. The at least one volume element is formed at least partially as bellows.

  • Publication number: 20200139809
Abstract: The invention relates to a tank, in particular a fuel tank, for receiving a liquid in a motor vehicle, comprising an outer wall that forms an internal space for receiving the liquid, at least one volume element situated in the internal space for receiving gas, in particular air, a gas-guiding line between the volume element and the surroundings of the tank for changing the volume of the volume element, and at least one stabilizing assembly for minimizing stresses at kinks of the volume element when evacuating the volume element.

  • Patent number: 9638647
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of determining the retention capacity of fuel vapor filters for motor vehicles, wherein a temperature profile of the fuel is recorded on a motor vehicle in a SHED chamber during a temperature cycle. A fuel vapor volumetric flow for a temperature change is calculated from the temperature profile. In a measurement arrangement (1) fuel is evaporated by means of an evaporator (2) and is output by means of a charging pump (9) to a fuel vapor filter (4) disposed in an oven (5). The bleed emissions of the fuel vapor filter (4) are measured at least during the charging.
