  • Publication number: 20240104603
Abstract: Methods and systems for matching user information between data sets, while preserving data privacy are provided. Some examples relate to matching subsets of users from a first device to subsets of users from a second device, based on a first set of indications and a second set of indications, respectively, to calculate how long it takes for a user to travel to a location of interest, after the user is provided with directed content. A conversion rate may be determined based on how many instances at which a user travels to the location of interest, within a conversion window, after the user is provided with the directed content. The conversion rate may be compared to a baseline conversion rate to determine a change in conversion rate. The change in conversion rate may correspond to an impact of the directed content in causing the user to travel to the location of interest. User data is not shared from the first device to the second device, and vice-versa.

  • Patent number: 11939914
Abstract: There is described a method of operating a multi-engine system of an helicopter. The multi-engine system has a first turboshaft engine having a first shaft, a second turboshaft engine having a second shaft, a gearbox having a clutch system, and a range of rotation speeds defined as a placarded zone. The method generally has rotating the first shaft at a flight rotation speed when clutched and rotating the second shaft at a first idle rotation speed when unclutched, the first idle rotation speed above the placarded zone; decreasing a rotation speed of the first shaft from the flight rotation speed to a given rotation speed within the placarded zone; decreasing a rotation speed of the second shaft to the given rotation speed; clutching the second shaft; and decreasing the rotation speeds of the first and second shafts to a second idle rotation speed below the placarded zone.

  • Patent number: 5122162
Abstract: The volumetric flow rate for the addition of a flue gas conditioning agent, such as sulfur trioxide, is established by maintaining the derivative of the electrostatic precipitator power with respect to flow rate within a preselected operating range. The derivative of the precipitator power with respect to time and the derivative of the flow rate with respect to time are measured, and then the derivatives are divided to determine the derivative of precipitator power with respect to flow rate. This calculated value is compared with a preselected operating range. If the calculated value is greater than the preselected operating range, the flow rate of the conditioning agent is increased. If the calculated value is less than the preselected operating range, the flow rate is reduced, until a steady state calculated derivative value within the operating range is reached.

  • Patent number: 4779540
Abstract: An accessory table adapted for detachable attachment to an article of furniture, such as a desk, is disclosed. The accessory table comprises a rigid floor supported post and an attachment assembly for the post, exerting vise action on the top and bottom surfaces of the desk. The post carries at least one table at the outer end of an arm, the latter being pivotable through a full circle. The table is also rotatable about its central vertical axis at the end of the arm. The post is hidden by an aesthetic sheath.
