  • Publication number: 20230171103
Abstract: An apparatus for decrypting an encrypted bit sequence comprises a test device configured to subject the bit sequence to a statistical test in view of an expected distribution of the bits in the bit sequence in order to obtain a test result. The apparatus is configured to decrypt the bit sequence should the test result indicate that the distribution follows the expected distribution, and to not decrypt the bit sequence should the test result indicate that the distribution does not follow the expected distribution.

  • Publication number: 20220029293
Abstract: Various embodiments that pertain to a loop antenna are described. The loop antenna can be a single loop antenna that switches between a first phase and a second phase. While operating at different phases, the loop antenna can function at the same frequency. The loop antenna can observe a response to the frequency at the first phase and the frequency at the second phase. This can provide a wider range of information over operation in a single phase.

  • Patent number: 10836009
Abstract: The present invention relates to a milling drum for removing glued-down floor coverings, in particular wooden floor coverings, preferably parquet floor coverings, in particular multilayer parquet, with a predetermined milling width which determines the width of a floor surface section by running the milling drum over the floor surface section to be machined, having a plurality of cutting plates which are arranged tangentially on the milling drum and which are arranged in a distributed manner on the milling drum, such that, upon a complete revolution of the milling drum, the entire milling width is operable with at least one cutting plate and such that a common width of the cutting plates being in contact simultaneously with the floor surface section to be machined is always smaller than the milling width.

The present invention further relates to a corresponding surface milling cutter, and a corresponding method for removing glued-down floor coverings.

  • Patent number: 9633333
Abstract: A system is provided which enables customized sessions for data gathering and analysis. The system receives data and commands from one or more user devices to generate and modify a session dataset and to select and activate system functions. The results of user inputs and actions are published to other user devices in the session. One or more functions for generating datasets, organizing datasets and analyzing the datasets may be independently selected and activated. The system enables a data gathering and analysis session to be preconfigured with a predetermined set and order of functions or for a session to be conducted with a dynamic selection and activation of functions and a dynamic selection of the orders of functions. In some embodiments, there is provided a software as a service (SaaS) application for implementing the data gathering and analysis session functions.

  • Publication number: 20050126149
Abstract: This invention discloses a rotary cutting apparatus and grass guide for mowing lawns. The rotary cutting apparatus consists of a plurality of small blades with their plane of rotation rotated between 1° and 90° from the horizontal plane of rotation. The rotation of the small blades from the horizontal plane of rotation working in conjunction with the grass guide results in a significant savings in required rotational kinetic energy due to the large reduction in mass of the plurality of small blades from that of a single large blade. The combination of this more efficient cutting design with the significant savings in required rotational kinetic energy allows for a smaller, quieter, lighter and less powerful motor or motors to be used. This results in a smaller, safer, quieter and lighter lawnmower, which is easier to operate and store.

  • Patent number: 5653933
Abstract: The present invention relates to a die used in bar stamping. Specifically, it relates to the orientation of cavities found on the die whereby, by angling the x-axis across the cavities at 10.degree. to 90.degree. from the horizontal axis of the press on which they are mounted, it is possible to add more cavities over a fixed length and/or to reduce spacing between cavities and thereby reduce rework. Surprisingly, the cavities are all filled using the same billet volume and, because the same volume fills more cavities, there is less rework and higher ultimate throughput.

  • Patent number: 4990200
Abstract: A process for affixing reclosable pouring fitments having pouring apertures to erected cartons. In a first embodiment, adhesive is initially applied to the rear of the fitment in two parallel strips on opposite edges of the fitment. Then, the fitment is rotated 90 degrees and two more parallel strips are applied to the other two edges of the fitment. The orientation of the second set of strips is generally perpendicular to that of the first set and is such that the strips form a rectangle which surrounds the pouring aperture of the fitment. The fitment is then applied to the carton over the dispensing aperture of the carton. The generally rectangular pattern of adhesive surrounding the carton's dispensing aperture effects a continuous seal between the fitment and the carton and minimizes leakage of the product out of the carton when fitment is closed.
