Abstract: This disclosure describes an unmanned aerial vehicle (“UAV”) configured to autonomously deliver items of inventory to various destinations. The UAV may receive inventory information and a destination location and autonomously retrieve the inventory from a location within a materials handling facility, compute a route from the materials handling facility to a destination and travel to the destination to deliver the inventory.

Abstract: Tissue access devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. The devices can have a sensor configured to occlude a flow path by deflecting a membrane into the flow path when the devices become dislodged from tissue. The sensor can be configured to partially or fully occlude the flow path. The sensor can have a spring. The spring can be biased to move the sensor from a sensor first configuration to a sensor second configuration when a force applied by the sensor first surface against a non-sensor surface changes from a first force to a second force less than the first force. The membrane can be deflected into the flow path when the sensor is in the sensor second configuration.

Abstract: A method for enhancing the functionality of series software of a control unit, in particular for a motor vehicle, having the steps of providing a control unit having an interface to which an external hardware device may be connected, having a non-volatile series software memory area in which the series software is stored, and having a volatile upload memory area, connecting an external hardware device, in which upload software is stored, to the interface loading the upload software from the external hardware device into the volatile upload memory area of the control unit, and executing the upload software in the upload memory area, the execution of the upload software enhancing the functionality of the series software by a diagnostic and/or test function.
