Abstract: Methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, enable visual-aided position sizing and trading. A method includes displaying a graph of a financial instrument and account data representing an account balance, and receiving a risk value and an order type for the displayed financial instrument. The method displays a risk amount according to the risk value and account balance and the currency of the displayed financial instrument and an exchange rate between the financial instrument and the account balance. The method receives an entry price, a stop price and a profit target price, determines a position size and a risk/reward ratio value in response to the risk amount, entry price, stop price and profit target price, and displays the position size and risk/reward ratio value for direct order entry to a bank or broker.
