  • Patent number: 11147189
Abstract: Hand held equipment has a body and a heat sink. The body defines an outer surface and a heat source therewithin. The heat sink forms a portion of the outer surface and is positioned in close proximity to the heat source so as to conduct heat therefrom. The heat sink has a base, a plurality of fins and a coating having low thermal conductivity (which may be a ceramic coating). The base has a lower and an upper surface. The lower surface is in close proximity to the heat source. The plurality of fins has a proximal end meeting the upper surface of the base, and a distal end extending away from the base. Each of the plurality of fins define a cross-sectional area and terminate at an outward surface. The coating extends over at least a portion of the outward surface of the plurality of fins. A heat sink is likewise disclosed.

The antenna section includes a first antenna segment, a second antenna segment adjacent to the first antenna segment, and a notch circuit disposed within a notch between the first antenna segment and the second antenna segment. The notch circuit prevents a first frequency of a signal from passing from the first antenna segment to the second antenna segment while allowing a second frequency from the signal to pass from the first antenna segment to the second antenna segment. The second antenna is disposed proximate to the first antenna. The first antenna occupies a second near field region of the second antenna and the second antenna occupies a first near field region of the first antenna.

  • Patent number: 10667819
Abstract: A delivery assembly includes a sleeve that fits snugly over a main endoscope over a distal end of the endoscope. A cylindrical carrier projects distally away from the sleeve and can carry one or more resilient tissue compression rings in a stretched configuration. A push ring is slidably disposed on the carrier, and an actuator is connected to the push ring. The actuator extends through the carrier, around a distal end of the carrier, and to the push ring to connect thereto such that when the actuator is pulled proximally, the push ring is urged distally on the carrier to push at least one compression ring off the carrier, at which point the compression ring is relaxed to assume a small configuration and clamp target tissue. The actuator may include a distal segment made of a flat ribbon.

Abstract: An apparatus is comprised of a processor, a tuning voltage generator, a tuning circuit, an amplifier, and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The processor generates a tuning voltage command and a modulation command signal. The tuning voltage generator, coupled to the processor, receives the tuning voltage command and generates a baseline analog tuning signal based on the received tuning voltage command. The amplifier, coupled to the tuning voltage generator, receives the baseline analog tuning signal and the modulation signal, and generates a tuning signal based on the received baseline analog tuning signal and the received modulation command signal. The VCO, coupled to the amplifier, receives the tuning signal, generates a modulated radio frequency output signal based on the received tuning signal, and outputs the modulated radio frequency output signal, the modulated radio frequency output signal emulating a communication waveform.
