The needle can also include an insulating layer disposed between the inner electrode and the outer electrode. The needle can further include a first exposed region of the needle disposed near a proximate end of the needle, the first exposed region including a first exposed portion of the inner electrode and a first exposed portion of the outer electrode, the first exposed region constructed to provide contact to a connector, and a second exposed region of the needle disposed near a distal end of the needle. A stylet can be provided for use with the needle and a sterile cover can be provided to cover the needle and maintain sterility of the needle and the stylet.
