  • Patent number: 11956323
Abstract: This application relates to embodiments for providing a content stream to a device from a content server based on a protocol that is established between the device and an account server. The account server can initiate a session with the device and provide the device with a list of channels available for a user account associated with the device. When a channel is selected at the device, conditional access information can be provided from the account server to the device, which can thereafter relay the conditional access information to the content server. The content server can use the conditional access information to verify that the device has the appropriate permission to receive streaming content. In this way, because the conditional access information originates at the account server, permission to access streaming content can be managed by correspondence between the account server and the device, rather than the content server.

  • Publication number: 20240090721
Abstract: A robotic cleaner includes a housing, a suction conduit with an opening, and a leading roller mounted in front of a brush roll. An inter-roller air passageway may be defined between the leading roller and the brush roll wherein the lower portion of the leading roller is exposed to a flow path to the suction conduit and an upper portion of the leading roller is outside of the flow path. Optionally, a combing unit includes a plurality of combing protrusions extending into the leading roller and having leading edges not aligned with a center of the leading roller. Optionally, a sealing strip is located along a rear side of the opening and along a portion of left and right sides of the opening. The underside may define side edge vacuum passageways extending from the sides of the housing partially between the leading roller and the sealing strip towards the opening.

  • Publication number: 20190336351
Abstract: Compression bandage for use as the only bandage in a single-bandage system for compression therapy, comprising an elastic compression layer and an elastic comfort layer, of which at least 50% is permanently attached to the compression layer. The compression bandage has a full-stretch elongation (FSE) of between 25% and 60% beyond its unstretched length. Full-stretch elongation is defined as the elongation at which the second derivative (130) of a curve (110) showing tensioning force over longitudinal elongation has its global maximum (140).

  • Patent number: 5764144
Abstract: A tarpaulin alarm system triggered by unsnapping a tarpaulin attachment snap from a snap member includes a hollow housing on which the snap member is mounted and a Hall effect sensor arranged proximate the snap member on a printed circuit board contained within the housing for cooperation with a magnet associated with the attachment snap. The housing is preferably cylindrical in shape for easy mounting in a drilled hole. The printed circuit board is connected to a switched power source external to the housing, and may be wired to a suitable alarm indicator, such as an existing horn. The circuitry includes an oscillator-based timer for providing a delay period after triggering during which the system may be reset by re-attaching the attachment snap to the snap member.
