  • Patent number: 10058028
Abstract: A sugarcane harvester may include a chassis with various discreet and laterally separated mounting locations. Crop divider support modules may be configured to separately and fixedly attach to the chassis at various of the mounting locations, in order to support respective crop dividers in a variety of discreet and laterally separated orientations.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 4, 2016
Date of Patent: August 28, 2018
    Assignee: DEERE & COMPANY
Inventors: Eric P. Richard, Michael L. Halbrook, Daniel J. Corbett, John P. Scrivner, Kerry J. Morvant, Marlin L. Goodnight, Dusk S. Mixon
  • Patent number: 9807931
Abstract: A method and control system are disclosed for monitoring operating modes of a harvester. A harvester may include one or more harvesting devices driven by one or more hydraulic circuits. A lower pressure limit and a current operating pressure may be determined for a hydraulic circuit of a harvesting device. The determined pressure limit and operating pressure may be compared, and a current operating mode for the harvester identified accordingly. The operating mode may include at least one of a waiting mode, a transport mode, a maneuvering mode, and a harvesting mode.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: November 7, 2017
    Assignee: Deere & Company
Inventors: Daniel J. Corbett, Bryan E. Dugas

  • Patent number: 9433149
Abstract: A chopper drum module and sugarcane harvester vehicle include a module frame distinct from a chassis of the sugarcane harvester having first and second drum bores on each side of the module. The first and second drum bores support, respectively, first and second chopper drums for parallel rotation. A plurality of mounting devices may be attached to the module frame or the chassis, wherein when the mounting devices are in an engaged state the module frame is secured to the chassis by the mounting devices such that the chopper drums receive sugarcane from a feed mechanism supported by the chassis. When the mounting devices are in a disengaged state, the module frame and the chopper drums may be collectively removable from the chassis and the sugarcane harvester.
