Patent number: 12244760Abstract: Embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product that authenticates a caller using calling party information. In an embodiment, an authentication device receives the call request and associated calling party information that includes a calling party number. The authentication device retrieves parameters associated with the calling party number, where a retrieved parameter is a number of accounts linked to the calling party number. The authentication device determines whether the number of accounts is between one and a threshold value, inclusive, and verifies that the call request originates from a location or a device associated with the calling party number. Based on the verifying and determining, the authentication device generates an authentication result that indicates whether the calling party number is authenticated.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2022Date of Patent: March 4, 2025Assignee: TrustID, Inc.Inventors: Patrick Michael Cox, Shreyas Dattatraya Saitawdekar, Richard J. Patent number: 11617568Abstract: An apparatus includes a disposable assembly and a reusable assembly. The disposable assembly includes a fluid input port, a fluid output port, and a tube configured to provide fluid communication between the fluid input port and the fluid output port. The reusable assembly includes a housing, a fluid management assembly that is configured to transition between an open position and a closed position, and a sensing assembly. The fluid management assembly is configured to prevent fluid from traveling past the tube to the fluid output port in the closed position. The sensing assembly is configured to sense fluid accumulating within the tube while the fluid management assembly is in the closed position. The sensing assembly is also configured to drive the fluid management assembly from the closed position to the open position when the sensing assembly detects fluid within the tube at a predetermined range.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2017Date of Patent: April 4, 2023Inventors: Jay K. Publication number: 20170304757Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a portable industrial air filtration device employing an annular dual filter assembly to capture and remove impurities from the air surrounding the air filtration device, enabling the air filtration device to quickly and efficiently improve the quality and safety of the air. The air filtration device includes a two-piece housing including a lower housing component and a locking cover removably attachable to the lower housing component. The dual filter assembly is mounted within the housing between the locking cover and the lower housing component, and includes a removable self-supporting outer pre-filter surrounding a separately removable inner HEPA filter. The pre-filter initially filters the surrounding air by capturing relatively large or coarse impurities, and the HEPA filter further filters the air pulled through the pre-filter by capturing relatively small or fine impurities.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 7, 2017Publication date: October 26, 2017Inventors: Keith A. Grider, Derek J. Leatzow, Stephen J. McPhilliamy, Antonio J. Belton, John S. White, JR., Daniel J. Greene

Patent number: 7987544Abstract: The attachment system includes a brushhead assembly having a spring/carrier combination which comprises a spring assembly and a separate carrier assembly, adapted to mate as a combination with a receiving portion, in the form of a cup member, at the top of the handle of the toothbrush. The spring/carrier combination includes a slot which mates snugly with a vertical rib on the inside surface of the cup member, and further includes a portion which opposes the slot on the spring/carrier combination which mates snugly with a cut-out portion in the cup member, to prevent rotational movement of the brushhead relative to the handle. The spring/carrier assembly further includes two opposing spring finger elements, wherein the lower ends of the spring fingers fit into corresponding openings in opposing sides of the cup member when the spring/carrier assembly is operatively positioned in the cup member, tending to prevent translational movement of the brushhead relative to the handle.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2004Date of Patent: August 2, 2011Assignee: Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.Inventors: Friedrich Stoeffler, Craig K.
