  • Patent number: 11925342
Abstract: A minimally invasive dilation device includes a plurality of rigid arms radially arrayed about a center and a dilating member positioned between the arms. A stylus may occupy the center. An outer flexible sleeve may be circumferentially secured to the arms, lying within or without the plurality of arms. An inner mesh may surround the stylus and dilating member. The device may be introduced into tissue toward a targeted area, while in a closed configuration. The dilating member may be a balloon, wherein upon inflation of the balloon, the arms are pushed radially outward, expanding the device and dilating the surrounding tissue. The dilating member may be a tube, wherein upon insertion of the tube, the arms are pushed radially outward. A cannula may be inserted inside the plurality of arms to keep the arms in an open configuration, and the dilating member may be withdrawn, providing an open passageway through the device to the targeted area. The device may be used with a neural monitoring system.

  • Publication number: 20240068924
Abstract: A method for enhancing gating performance of a cell sorter to prepare an enriched specimen for optical tomography cell analysis includes introducing a specimen into a FACS to generate 2D event data; generating a first scatterplot of the 2D data; identifying target objects; constructing a boundary within the first scatterplot to produce a first gate; counting target objects within the first gate; comparing the number of target objects within the first gate to a first predetermined value and adjusting the first gate as necessary. A boundary around a set of target objects is constructed in a second scatterplot to produce a subset second gate and target objects within the second gate are counted and the count compared to a second predetermined value. When a boundary around target objects meets specifications the first and second gates are stored in memory and used to enrich patient specimens.

  • Patent number: 7182292
Abstract: A seat having a seat leg assembly for use on a mobile platform, especially on an aircraft. The seat comprises a front seat leg, a rear seat leg, and a spreader bar coupled to and extending between the front seat leg and the rear seat leg. The spreader bar has a door. The door is movable between a closed position in which the door prevents access to areas beneath the spreader bar and an open position in which the door permits access to areas beneath the spreader bar. In this manner, the open door allows an installer to grasp electrical cabling beneath the spreader bar and feed the cabling through a hole in the door so that the cable can be connected a connection point on or adjacent to the seat track.

  • Patent number: 7086874
Abstract: A seat track system for conducting electricity between spaced apart seats, such as between passenger seats of an aircraft passenger cabin, comprising a conductive tube assembly and a housing. The conductive tube assembly includes a conductive inner layer having a first conductive portion and a second conductive portion that is structurally independent of the first conductive portion. The first and the second portions define a socket. The tube assembly further includes a dielectric outer layer that is elastic so as to exert a biasing force on the conductive inner layer to urge the first portion and the second portion together. The housing is operable to receive the conductive tube assembly and support the tube assembly between the first and the second seats. The socket is operable to receive a conductive member that mates with the conductive inner layer to conduct electricity to and from the conductive tube assembly.
