Abstract: Systems and methods applicable, for instance, to the generation and usage of authentication images. In one aspect, unauthorized attempts to duplicate authentication images can be thwarted. In another aspect, there can be provision for authorized authentication image generation using low-resolution print devices.

Abstract: Techniques are described for determining an identifier (ID) that identifies a vehicle employed in a ridesharing service, presenting the ID through a presentation device of the vehicle, and communicating the ID to a passenger to help guide the passenger to the appropriate vehicle. The ID may be presented in a presentation device, such as a light-emitting diode (LED) display, that is temporarily or permanently affixed to the vehicle. The ID may also be communicated for presentation by a passenger device of the passenger. In some implementations, the ID is a particular color that is selected on the driver device of the driver of the vehicle, such that the presentation device displays the selected color. The presentation device may also present text data.

Abstract: Implementations include actions of receiving a site-analysis request, the site-analysis request including a uniform resource locator (URL) associated with a resource of a website; retrieving the resource based on the URL; identifying content of the resource; performing a plurality of tests based on the content to provide a plurality of results, each test providing a result of the plurality of results; and determining an indicator based on the plurality of results, the indicator indicating a likelihood that the website is selling counterfeit goods.
