Abstract: A method and system for dynamically customizing a webpage layout according to webpage transition history of a user are disclosed. The method includes collecting historical web session data of a plurality of users, and performing collaborative filtering using the collected historical web session data. The method further includes generating a probabilistic model and a webpage transaction path for a target user among the plurality of users. • Patent number: 12211109
Abstract: A system for implementing a trial a field is provided. In an embodiment, the system is configured to generate a trial recommendation for a field and, based on field data for the field, compute a yield probabilities for the field. The system is also configured to generate a plurality of outcome-based values for the field based on the yield probabilities, compute crop values for each of the outcome-based values and a bushel per acre value, and cause display of an interface that dynamically displays each of the plurality of outcome-based values for the field based on a selected bushel per acre value. The system is further configured to receive user input changing a position of an interactive sliding widget in the interface, to change the bushel per acre value, and in response, compute a crop value for each of the outcome-based values based on the changed bushel per acre value.

  • Patent number: 12206716
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology provide for secure, privacy-preserving access to electronic conferencing. In one or more implementations, a device may obtain a link that corresponds to a call with a second device, encrypt a request to join the call using a key obtained using the link, and send the encrypted request to a server for delivery to the second device. The link may also include information used to identify an alias for an account associated with the second device. The device may send the encrypted request to the server with the alias. The device may receive an encrypted response to the request from the server, obtain an identifier of the call from the encrypted response, and then receive an invitation to join the call associated with the identifier.

  • Patent number: 12193973
Abstract: A device includes an image capture device directed towards a user's eye and a dispensing mechanism configured to receive an apparatus containing fluid. The image capture device is coupled to a controller that processes images of the user's eye captured by the image capture device to determine when the user's eye has been open for at least a threshold amount of time. An orientation sensor included in the device determines an orientation relative to vertical of the device. When the controller determines that the user's eye has been open for at least a threshold amount of time and that the device has an orientation within a specific range, the dispensing mechanism applies force to the apparatus storing fluid to dispense fluid. One or more sensors in the device detect when fluid has been dispensed.

  • Publication number: 20240364841
Abstract: An image processing system enables a user wearing a head-mounted display to experience a virtual environment combined with a representation of a real-world object. The image processing system receives a captured scene of a real-world environment that includes a target object. The image processing system identifies the target object in the captured scene and generates a representation of the target object. In some cases, the image processing system may include a graphical overlay with the representation of the target object. The image processing system can generate a combined scene that includes the target object and the virtual environment. The combined scene is presented to the user, thereby allowing the user to interact with the real-world target object (or a representation thereof) in combination with the virtual environment.

  • Publication number: 20240214772
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may obtain a set of one or more communication events associated with a user device, where the set of one or more communication events indicates respective values of one or more communication parameters. The device may determine, for each communication event, whether one or more rules are applicable to that communication event based on a comparison of values of the one or more communication parameters of that communication event and values of the one or more communication parameters of a previous communication event to that communication event in time. The device may assign, for each communication event, a movement state for that communication event based on whether a score for that communication event satisfies a threshold, where the score is a summation of one or more weights of respective rules applicable to that communication event.

  • Publication number: 20240214769
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may obtain location data associated with one or more user devices, wherein the location data indicates, for the one or more user devices, respective geographic locations and respective durations. The device may determine, based on the location data, one or more point of interest (POI) locations associated with respective user devices from the one or more user devices. The device may determine, for each user device from the one or more user devices, probability values for respective POI locations from the one or more POI locations, wherein the probability values indicate likelihoods of user visits at the respective POI locations. The device may determine one or more probability metrics for the respective POI locations, from the one or more POI locations, associated with user visits to the respective POI locations. The device may store the one or more probability metrics.

  • Publication number: 20240179493
Abstract: Described herein are examples of a system that processes information describing movement of a vehicle at a time related to a potential collision to reliably determine whether a collision occurred and/or one or more characteristics of the collision. In response to obtaining information regarding a potential collision, data describing movement of the vehicle before and/or after a time associated with the potential collision is analyzed to determine whether the collision occurred and/or to determine one or more collision characteristic(s). The analysis may be carried out at least in part using a trained classifier that classifies the vehicle movement data into one or more classes, where at least some the classes are associated with whether a collision occurred and/or one or more characteristics of a collision. If a collision is determined to be likely, one or more actions may be triggered based on the characteristic(s) of the collision.

  • Patent number: 11997777
Abstract: An electrostatic discharge (ESD) robust design for an input device such as a stylus is disclosed. The input device can include one or more components, such as one or more Schottky diodes, that can be damaged by ESD events. To reduce the likelihood of damage to sensitive components, the parasitic capacitance between sensitive conductive paths and reference ground paths of the input device that could otherwise provide electrostatic discharge paths can be reduced (arranging current limiting resistance at specific locations among sensitive components, creating physical separation between sensitive conductive paths and reference ground paths), shielding can be added to shield the sensitive electronics from ESD pulses, and high dielectric breakdown material can be added to prevent ESD pulse entry or exit of not otherwise protected circuit parts.
