  • Patent number: 11960464
Abstract: A materialization configuration request is received via a programmatic interface from a client of a journal-based multi-data-store database. The request indicates a partitioning rule to be used to select, for respective writes indicated in committed transaction entries of a journal, the materialization node at which the writes are to be stored. A control plane component of the database verifies that a set of materialization nodes corresponding to the partitioning rule has been established, and initiates the propagation of writes from the journal to the materialization nodes by respective write appliers.

  • Patent number: 11942831
Abstract: Method and apparatus for providing a motor controller/driver integrated circuit package having diagnostic processing of signal(s) from a magnetic field sensor positioned in relation to a motor. The sensor signal may have a first voltage range corresponding to a valid high state and a second voltage range corresponding to a valid low state. A diagnostic module can process the received signal from the magnetic field sensor to determine whether the received signal has a voltage level within the first or second voltage ranges. An output module may generate an output signal having a state based on the whether the received signal has a voltage level within the first or second voltage ranges.

  • Patent number: 11621657
Abstract: A motor control system includes a gate driver motor controller and a microcontroller configured to generate a commutation command signal for coupling to the gate driver motor controller. The gate driver motor controller includes a current measurement circuit to measure current in each of three current paths corresponding to three motor windings, an interface to transmit a first subset of the measured currents corresponding to a first subset of the current paths, and a calibrator to calibrate a current path that is not part of the first subset of current paths when the first subset of the measured currents is transmitted. The microcontroller includes an interface to receive the first subset of measured currents and a processor to compute the current in the current path that is not part of the first subset of current paths based on the first subset of measured currents.

  • Patent number: 9419800
Abstract: Secure network systems and methods are provided. In an aspect of the invention, a secure network system is provided that includes a computing system that comprises a client system and a specialized NIC (network interface controller) system equipped with the capability to form a secure connection with an endpoint system and encrypt and decrypt communications between the client system and the network to which it is connected. This trusted network interface (TNI), which may present itself as a physical peripheral connected to a physical client system or a virtual peripheral connected to a virtual client system, takes the place of a client system's standard NIC, and the connection that it forms with the trusted network is negotiated and enforced externally to and independent of the client system.

  • Patent number: 7580547
Abstract: A method of calibrating a video image to the scene imaged is provided for which a vehicle image transit can be associated with the transit of the real-world vehicle. A path is determined by a tracking point for at least one vehicle image. A measuring vehicle image is selected, wherein the measuring vehicle image is associated with a known dimension of the real-world measuring vehicle. At a point on the path, collocated with the tracking point, a scaling factor is determined such that a measuring vehicle image dimension is associated with a real-world dimension. A number of scaling factors can then be assembled into a scaling map allowing vehicles traversing the video scene to be measured in time, by the video frame rate, and distance, by the distance of their images and scaled according to the scaling map. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070199519
Abstract: A teat foam ring connected to a supply of pressurized cleaning solution and a supply of pressurized air. The teat foam ring includes a cleaning solution inlet and defines a cleaning solution channel and an extrusion slot. Cleaning solution and compressed air flow into the ring through the cleaning solution inlet and into a cleaning solution channel. The cleaning solution is expelled from the ring through the extrusion slot as a foam. The teat foam ring may include or be connected to a mixing chamber for transforming the cleaning solution and the compressed gas into a foam. The mixing chamber may be defined within the inlet of the teat foam ring. A mixing medium may be located in the mixing chamber.
