  • Patent number: 11454256
Abstract: An interlocked single function activation valve for hydraulic systems is disclosed. The hydraulic valve prevents unsafe tie-down or safety override situations by requiring the safety mechanism to be reset each time the hydraulic system is used. The hydraulic valve includes an interlock spool that moves to an extension position when the hydraulic system is de-pressurized and then re-pressurized while the control lever is engaged (i.e., tied down). When the interlock spool is in the extension position, it prevents the system from reaching a working pressure, thereby forcing a reset of the control lever before the system can reach working pressure.

  • Patent number: 11300222
Abstract: System for hydraulic valve assembly comprises a valve body having a cylindrical internal cavity and an axially moveable cylindrical spool supported therein. Hydraulic ports are defined through the valve body. The spool includes one or more radially oriented fluid control floating lands. Each floating land is configured to control one or more of fluid flow from a hydraulic port, and fluid flow to a hydraulic port. Each floating land includes a cylindrical control slide defining a hollow chamber, and an end section. The control slide is axially movable relative to the end section between a retention position and an extension position to thereby control one or more of fluid flow from the hydraulic port, and fluid flow to the hydraulic port.

  • Patent number: 11273567
Abstract: A chopping tool for safely chopping food. The chopping tool includes a blade with a blade edge at a distal end, and a spine at a proximal end. The spine includes two lateral edges with a receptor positioned near each lateral edge. The chopping tool also includes two handles engaging the blade, each handle including a scabbard section for grabbing with fingers, a horizontal section extending from the scabbard section towards and engaging the receptor on the spine, and a vertical section protruding from the scabbard section towards the distal end of the blade. Each handle is configured to pivot about a point of contact between a bottom end of the vertical section and a cutting surface to move the blade edge downward towards the cutting surface and upward away from the cutting surface in an alternating fashion for chopping an article placed on the cutting surface.
