  • Publication number: 20260077158
Abstract: Medical devices such as catheter shafts as well as methods for manufacturing catheters shafts are disclosed. An example method for manufacturing a catheter shaft may include forming a first shaft member. The first shaft member may include a first inner layer, a first reinforcing layer, and a first outer layer. The method may also include forming a second shaft member. The second shaft member may include a second inner layer, a second reinforcing layer, and a second outer layer. The method may also include trimming the first shaft member to form a first shaft segment, trimming the second shaft member to form a second shaft segment, and securing the first shaft segment to the second shaft segment.

  • Publication number: 20250057538
Abstract: Delivery devices for an occlusive implant and method for making and using delivery devices are disclosed. An example delivery device may include a delivery sheath having a proximal region and a distal tip region. A reinforcing member may extend along the proximal region. The distal tip region may include a grooved distal section. The grooved distal section may be configured to shift between a delivery configuration and an expanded configuration. A core member may be slidably disposed within the delivery sheath. An occlusive implant may be releasably coupled to the core member.

  • Publication number: 20250057537
Abstract: Delivery devices for an occlusive implant and method for making and using delivery devices are disclosed. An example delivery device may include a delivery sheath having a proximal region and a laser cut distal tip region. A reinforcing member may extend along the proximal region. The laser cut distal tip region may have one or more laser cuts formed therein that form a patterned distal section. The patterned distal section may be configured to shift between a delivery configuration and an expanded configuration. A core member may be slidably disposed within the delivery sheath. An occlusive implant may be releasably coupled to the core member.

  • Publication number: 20250025179
Abstract: Delivery devices for an occlusive implant and method for making and using delivery devices are disclosed. An example delivery device may include a delivery sheath having a proximal region, a garage region, and a distal tip region. The proximal region may have a proximal inner diameter. The garage region may have a garage inner diameter larger than the proximal inner diameter. A reinforcing member may extend along the proximal region, the garage region, or both. A core member may be slidably disposed within the delivery sheath. An occlusive implant releasably coupled to the core member.

  • Publication number: 20250017591
Abstract: Delivery devices for an occlusive implant and method for making and using delivery devices are disclosed. An example delivery device may include a delivery sheath having a sheath body and a distal tip region. A tip reinforcing member may be coupled to the distal tip region. The tip reinforcing member may define a plurality of distal arm segments. The distal arm segments are configured to shift between a first configuration and an expanded configuration. A core member may be slidably disposed within the delivery sheath. An occlusive implant may be releasably coupled to the core member.

  • Publication number: 20230191082
Abstract: A medical device, which may be adapted for delivering and/or recapturing an implantable implant, includes an elongate sheath and a rigid member that is secured relative to the elongate sheath. The elongate sheath includes an inner polymeric liner, an outer polymeric sheath and a reinforcing braid that extends within the outer polymeric sheath. The reinforcing braid includes a plurality of wire ends that extend beyond a distal edge of the rigid member in order to protect the implantable implant from being damaged by the rigid member in the event that the inner polymeric liner becomes damaged.
