  • Publication number: 20070185989
Abstract: An integrated video surveillance system and associated method of use is disclosed that includes at least one alarm monitoring center, each alarm monitoring center includes a main control panel with a first video recorder interface, at least one subscriber, wherein each subscriber is electrically connected to a control module, at least one mobile unit, wherein each mobile unit includes at least one first electronic display and is electrically connected to a wireless access network, at least one video camera for providing video data of a predetermined area, and at least one computer network, which includes a global computer network, that is operatively connected between the at least one alarm monitoring center, the at least one subscriber, the at least one video camera and the at least one mobile unit through the wireless access network.

  • Patent number: 6474953
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a compressor installation with at least one lubricated screw-type compressor element (1) connected to a pressure vessel (11) which is driven by an electric motor (10) which is regulated in function of the compression pressure, and which compresses the gas supplied through the gas inlet conduit (2). The return flow of lubricating agent through the return conduit (7) also is determined by a controlled valve (9) which is provided with a calibrated opening (29) and which is controlled by control means (43) which, as the number of revolutions of the screw-type compressor element (1) has dropped below a well-defined value, put the controlled valve (9) into the position in which it restricts the return flow of lubricating agent to a flow through the calibrated opening (29).

  • Patent number: 6071045
Abstract: A cutting insert (20) having a geometrical configuration comprising first and second oppositely facing, parallel faces interconnected by a V-shaped bottom (26) and side (28) and top (30) walls perpendicular to the faces with the side walls (28) being parallel to one another. The cutting insert (20) has first (32) and second (34) flutes disposed on opposite sides of a center axis with the first flute (32) extending in an arc from the top wall (30) to one of the side walls (28) and the second flute (34) extending in an arc from the top wall (30) to the other of the side walls (28). The first flute (32) presents a flute surface extending in the arc and is disposed at an angle sloping downwardly from the first face (22) to the second face (24) along the entire arc thereof to define intersections with the top wall (30) and one of the side walls (28) respectively which are disposed at an angle other than 90.degree. relative to the faces.
