  • Publication number: 20240031489
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for normalizing audio transmissions from multiple endpoints within a teleconference. A first audio transmission from a first participant of a teleconference can be received for presentation at the teleconference. The first audio transmission can be analyzed to classify one or more audio signatures of the first audio transmission as speech. A difference can be determined between the audio level of the one or more audio signatures and an audio level of second transmissions. Based on the difference, the first audio transmission can be normalized to adjust a gain of the first transmission. The transmission can be output to the teleconference.

  • Publication number: 20230291840
Abstract: A method includes receiving a microphone audio signal and a playout audio signal, and determining a frequency representation of the microphone audio signal and a frequency representation of the playout audio signal. For each frequency representation, the method also includes determining features based on the frequency representation. Each feature corresponds to a pair of frequencies of the frequency representation and a period of time between the pair of frequencies. The method also includes determining that a match occurs between a first feature based on the frequency representation of the microphone audio signal and a second feature based on the frequency representation of the playout audio signal, and determining that a delay value between the first feature and the second feature corresponds to an echo within the microphone audio signal.

  • Patent number: 11486595
Abstract: An Air Handling Unit for a ventilation system in a building has supply and extract air channels, each with an inlet and an outlet for guiding air to and from a building. Each air channel includes a damper controlling air flow. The air channels are in a heat exchanging relation to each other. The AHU also includes a fan and an Electronic Control Unit. The ECU outputs a defrost cycle initiation signal to defrost the heat recovery arrangement. The ECU outputs a defrost cycle termination signal to end the defrost cycle upon indication of the defrosting being completed. To optimize the defrost cycle time the ECU changes the first or second criterion for defrost cycle termination signal depending on the time for performing the defrost cycle such that the time period of the defrost cycle is prolonged/shortened when the defrost cycle time period is shorter/longer than preferred.
