    Abstract: A cross border payment (CBP) computing device for transmitting cross border data rich payments in real-time is provided. The CBP computing device receives, from an originating bank associated with a payor, a payment request message to transfer funds in real-time. The payment request message includes payment instructions and transaction information associated with a transfer amount. The CBP computing device determines that the payment request message is a cross border payment transfer from a first payment network for processing real-time payments within a first country to a second payment network for processing real-time payments within a second country, and retrieves, from a database, a set of rules based on a payment messaging standard and protocol associated with the second payment network. The CBP computing device reformats the payment request messaged based on the retrieved set of rules, and transmits the reformatted payment message to a receiving bank associated with a payee.

    Abstract: A method described herein involves various operations directed toward network security. The operations include accessing transaction data describing network traffic associated with a web server during an interval. Based on a count of new transactions involving an online entity during the interval according to the transaction data, a short-term trend is determined for the online entity. The operations further include applying exponential smoothing to a history of transactions of the online entity to compute a long-term trend for the online entity. Based on a comparison between the short-term trend and the long-term trend for the online entity, an anomaly is detected with respect to the online entity in the network traffic associated with the web server. Responsive to detecting the anomaly, an access control is implemented between the online entity and the web server.

    Abstract: A method includes receiving an indication that a wireless-power receiver is located within one meter of a wireless-power transmission system and is authorized to receive wirelessly-delivered power from a wireless-power transmission system. The method includes, in response to receiving the indication, selecting a power level at which to amplify a radio frequency (RF) signal using a power amplifier (PA). In accordance with a determination that transmitting the RF signal to the wireless-power receiver would satisfy safety thresholds, the method includes instructing the PA to amplify the RF signal using the power level to create an amplified RF signal, and providing the amplified RF signal to the one or more antennas. The one or more antennas are caused to, upon receiving the amplified RF signal, radiate RF energy that is focused within an operating area that includes the wireless-power receiver while forgoing any active beamforming control.

The system also includes a spacer positioned between the male tapered threads of the puller screw and the female tapered threads of the stud. A method for preloading tension in a stud using the spacer is also provided.
