Abstract: The present invention is directed to a new fluoro-pyridinone hydroxamic acid phosphates and boronates of Formulae I, II and III wherein Q is selected from the group consisting of —P(O)(OH)2, —P(O)(OH)(O?M+), —P(O)(O?M+)2 and —P(O)(O?)2M2+; M+ at each occurrence is a pharmaceutically acceptable monovalent cation; and M2+ is a pharmaceutically acceptable divalent cation and their use as LpxC inhibitors and, more specifically, their use to treat bacterial infections.

Abstract: An electrosurgical instrument includes a pair of jaws, an endoscope configured to capture image data of a surgical site including the electrosurgical instrument, and an energy generator coupled to the electrosurgical instrument. The energy generator is configured to generate an energy output to the electrosurgical instrument. The system also includes an endoscope controller which includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processor, cause the energy-based surgical system to access the captured image, determine a thickness of tissue grasped by the pair of jaws based on the image, and control the energy output of the energy generator based on the determined thickness.

Abstract: A muffler assembly is disclosed allowing one or more outlet tips to be secured to an exhaust. The muffler comprises a casing having an outlet end including threaded holes or threaded bolts attached to the casing, an outlet tip with a tubular member and an annular flange connected to the tubular member, wherein the flange has a plurality of holes or incisions and wherein screws or nuts cooperate with the threaded holes or threaded bolts, respectively, to secure the outlet tip to the casing.
