  • Publication number: 20240140651
Abstract: A flexible container has a bag body and a sealing portion at the upper end of the bag body's sidewalls. The sealing portion includes a strip and a groove which are relatively arranged on the inner side of the sealing portion. The strip has a convex mushroom-shaped cross-section, and the groove has a concave mushroom-shaped cross-section. The strip and groove interlock by an interference snap fit connection. The ends of the strip and groove transition from the mushroom-shaped cross-section to a rectangular-shaped cross-section which also snap fit together. The mushroom-shaped cross-section in the middle portion of the strip and groove create a sealing portion that is easy to seal and difficult to open. To help open the sealing portion, tabs extend up from the bag body's sidewalls. There is a cross-sectional transition design near the end, and the transitional shape can increase the sealing force to optimize the anti-leak effect.

  • Patent number: 11796381
Abstract: An electronic scale performs a post-weighing calibration in which the user steps on the scale, and the scale provides an estimated weight based on the scale's stored tare weight determined after the previous weighing performed by the scale. The person steps off of the scale while the estimated weight is displayed, and the scale automatically performs the calibration process to determine the scale's tare weight and verifies the weight. The estimated weight is shown with an orange ellipsis, and the verified weight is shown with a green checkmark. The scale compares the stored tare weight with the new tare weight, and if the difference between the stored tare weight and the new tare weight is within a variation threshold, the scale identifies the weight as being verified. If the difference exceeds the variation threshold, the scale recalculates the weight, displays the corrected weight, and produces a tone as an alert.

  • Patent number: 11779108
Abstract: A table with a top surface, a bottom surface, a plurality of legs, and at least one slot with a ledge capable of supporting a tab for plugging the slot or an accessory. When engaged in the slot, the tab is flush with the top surface of the table to create a flat work space across the entire area of the tablet. Further, a narrow portion in the slot prevents the tab from falling through while a widened section is provided so that an end of the tab may be pushed downward into the widened section to rotate the opposite end out of the slot to remove the tab.

  • Patent number: 11744360
Abstract: A table has a shelf beneath a tabletop which holds charging strips, communication hubs, cords and/or other equipment in a storage compartment behind a divider wall. The divider wall has an opening forming a passageway for cords from the equipment that are used to power and/or communicate with electronic devices on the tabletop or in a cubby on the shelf ahead of the divider wall. The table also has a groove in the tabletop for holding electronic devices. The groove has one or more apertures through which cords pass from the equipment in the storage compartment to the electronic devices in the groove for providing power and/or communication. The table can be a desk, conference table, side table, end table, night stand, and any other piece furniture that has the tabletop and shelf with a divider wall and opening according to the present invention, such as wall shelves.

  • Patent number: 11408596
Abstract: A lighting device has a light tube with a cylindrical housing that has a longitudinal axis and encases an electrical circuit including a switch, a rechargeable battery, a secondary induction coil, a receiver circuit, and an elongated light panel. The cylindrical housing includes a ferromagnetic material and an elongated window, and the elongated light panel extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis adjacent to the elongated window. The light tube is magnetically held in place by a permanent magnet in a mount and can rotate around a concave surface on the forward side of the mount which has a complementary shape to the cylindrical housing of the light tube. The mount also has a primary induction coil and a transmitter circuit within the interior space of its shell. The mount can rotate on a base, and a power cord operatively engages the transmitter circuit in the mount.

  • Patent number: 10492601
Abstract: A work table for securely holding accessories that has a groove spanning a portion of the tabletop, wherein any number of tech products and other accessories can be supported. The groove runs between the side ends of the tabletop and provides a variation of mounting locations preferably on opposite sides of the lateral axis, thus having no presupposed configuration for where tech products or accessories should be supported within the groove. There is a series of apertures within the groove that allow for easy cable pass through at any point therein. Additionally, the table has a cable grid below the tabletop that allow a user to removably attach tech product chargers, power strips, or other accessories directly below the work top for easy accessibility through the series of apertures.

  • Publication number: 20150289642
Abstract: An article of furniture, comprising a top panel having a bottom surface and a top surface, and at least one channel disposed in the top panel. The channel comprises top and bottom openings which are connected such that the channel forms a passageway from the top surface to the bottom surface of the top panel wherein the bottom opening is behind the top opening. Additionally, an article of furniture may comprise a first support member, a second support member, and one or more cross member assemblies. The one or more cross member assemblies comprise a shelf member, a first rail and a second rail, wherein the first rail and the second rail are rotatably connected to the shelf member such that the first and second rails are adapted to be in a first position for shipping and are adapted to be rotated to a second position for assembly.
