Abstract: This invention provides apparatus for projecting light, for a motor vehicle, comprising: a light source having a discharge bulb, a high tension module, and a bulb base for making the connection between the bulb and the high tension module, a counterpart comprising a reflector and a lamp holder, with the said lamp holder holding the bulb in front of the reflector, and a fastening system for fixing the light source on the counterpart and situated at least partly around the lamp holder, the fastening system comprising: a rotatable rigid sleeve, and an electrically conductive flexible annular ring situated inside the rigid sleeve and having tongues in electrical and/or mechanical contact with the light source. The invention also provides a method for fitting the said apparatus.

Abstract: The invention proposes an arrangement for the electrical connection of a lamp of the type that is fitted in a support and connected electrically to an electrical power-supply harness by having fixed terminals in contact with connecting terminals carried by a terminal block. The fixed terminals extend laterally outward from the base of the lamp along directions contained in a substantially transverse plane. The terminal block is movably fitted with respect to a support between a locked position in which, the connecting terminals are in electrical contact with the fixed terminals, and an unlocked position in which, the connecting terminals are spaced from the fixed terminals.

Abstract: The invention proposes an arrangement (10) for the electrical connection of a lamp (12), of the type in which the lamp (12) is fitted in a support (14) and it is connected electrically to an electrical power-supply harness (107) by having the fixed terminals (24, 26, 28) coming into contact with connecting terminals (65) carried by a terminal block (36). The fixed terminals (24, 26, 28) of the lamp (12) extend laterally overall outwards along directions which are each contained in a substantially transverse plane. The terminal block (36) is fitted movable with respect to the support (14) between a locked position in which the connecting terminals (65) are in electrical contact with the associated fixed terminals (24, 26, 28), and an unlocked position in which the connecting terminals (65) are spaced away from the fixed terminals (24, 26, 28).
