Abstract: A method includes receiving data characterizing a target accuracy and a performance metric of a model; rendering, within a graphical user interface display space, a plot including a first axis and a second axis, the first axis including a characterization of false positive and the second axis including a characterization of false negative; and rendering, within the graphical user interface display space and within the plot, a graphical object at a location characterizing the performance metric and a visualization indicative of the target accuracy. Abstract: An emergent driving assistant for a vehicle includes a control circuitry that receives a constraint signal, a feature signal, and a motion signal. The feature signal is in a first or second state. The first state indicates that the driver exhibits a non-neutral emotional state or a non-neutral gaze state. The second state indicates that the driver exhibits neutral emotional and gaze states. The constraint signal indicates a constraint on motion of the vehicle on a section of a road. The motion signal indicates the vehicle's motion. The control circuitry determines, based on the constraint and motion signals, whether the vehicle is violating the constraint. It then relieves the driver from complete control over a vehicle subsystem when the feature signal is in the first state and when the vehicle is violating the constraint.

Abstract: Described herein are leather wallets including one or more multi-layer plates. The multi-layer plate(s) can be in the form of a sandwich construction. In some embodiments, the multi-layer plate can comprise a substrate layer, a polymeric layer, and/or a material layer. In some embodiments, the material layer comprises a soft material like leather, synthetic leather, or the like. The disclosure herein improves on the prior art, in which wallet products using multi-layer plates involved the use of only hard (e.g., non-leather) materials.

Abstract: A magnetic plate may be provided by a device, comprising: a first magnet, a second magnet, and a third magnet; a plate defining: a first indentation in which the first magnet is disposed; a second indentation in which the second magnet is disposed; and a third indentation in which the third magnet is disposed; and a contact surface; and, a target area; wherein: the first indentation, the second indentation, and the third indentation are located on the plate relative to a target area of the plate so that a net magnetic field generated by the first magnet, second magnet, and third magnet has a field strength that is below a predefined threshold within the target area. A keying feature may be provided so as to prevent misalignment between the plate and a device to which it can be magnetically connected.

Abstract: There is disclosed a compact wallet, comprising at least two rigid plates at least one having a channel into which an encircling elastic band is interposed to bias the at least two rigid plates inwardly and securely hold the card-like contents while providing elastic volume therebetween while allowing freedom for the dynamic extension and contraction of the band over the entire running length of the wallet. The wallet includes an auxiliary feature removably attached within the interior at least one of the at least two rigid plates interposed using a tang inserted into a recess formed inside the plate, the tang having a hook, the hook extending at an angle to the tang, the hook engaging an undercut of the recess to prevent inadvertent dislodgement of the auxiliary feature from the recess.

Abstract: A device, comprising a first plate, a second plate, a third plate, a plurality of permanent fasteners, and a plurality of removable fasteners, wherein the permanent fasteners are configured such that the permanent fasteners secure the first plate to the second plate the removable fasteners are configured such that the removable fasteners rigidly secure the second plate to the third plate. The device permits a user to customize an article, such as a piece of luggage, with a customized third plate (e.g., bearing a user's name) which may be affixed to the article and later removed from the article as desired. The device disclosed herein thus, in some embodiments, may take the form of a removable, replaceable nameplate.

Abstract: A keycase includes a longitudinal top plate, a longitudinal bottom plate, a flexible connector connecting the longitudinal top plate and the longitudinal bottom plate, a key post coupled to the longitudinal bottom plate and extending from the longitudinal bottom plate toward the longitudinal top plate. The key post is configured to hold one or more keys. The key case further includes a fastener configured to detachably connect the key post and the longitudinal top plate and secure the key post with the longitudinal top plate, and a key pushing liner coupled to the longitudinal bottom plate and configured to push the one or more keys toward the longitudinal top plate.
