  • Patent number: 10305986
Abstract: A cloud-based storage service hosts content information that may be accessed by client machines in a peer-to-peer network. The content information is a compact representation of the content which is stored outside of the cloud-based storage service. The cloud-based storage service generates the content information and a content information hash. The content information hash is used to validate the content information when the content information is downloaded to the peer-to-peer network. The cloud-based storage service also generates metadata that describes the content information so that a client machine in the peer-to-peer network may access the content information from the cloud-based storage service.

  • Publication number: 20060188427
Abstract: The present invention is a process to react limestone with sulfate and/or sulfuric acid solutions and/or other solutions containing sulfates, in order to neutralize the solutions and precipitate the sulfates, in such a way that the limestone is used with an efficiency that makes the use of limestone economic. This reaction is most often used in the environmental cleanup of mine and industrial wastes, however it may be used in other industrial applications. In previously existing technology, the reaction is typically done in agitated tanks containing a slurry of the solution mixed with lime or limestone, or in percolating beds of crushed limestone. Typically the reaction of limestone in such systems is very slow and inefficient, so that normally the use of limestone is precluded—it is instead necessary to utilize lime (calcium oxide or hydroxide).

  • Publication number: 20050000636
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for temporarily fixing two planar workpieces, in particular a processed wafer and a carrier wafer. A thin layer is first applied to the sides of the two workpieces that have to be connected, and the coated sides of the workpieces are then connected by means of a bonding agent. Care should be taken that the thin layers can preferably be applied easily and removed without leaving any residues. The bonding agent, which actually causes the bond, needs only be selected with respect to its chemical resistance and its mechanical and adhesive properties.
