  • Publication number: 20240367519
Abstract: A method generates and outputs an operating signal in a vehicle with a steering wheel. The method includes the steps of operating the vehicle at a standstill or in an autonomous driving mode. The method also includes detecting a steering wheel angle and generating and outputting the operating signal. The operating signal controls a vehicle component, or can be used for a menu navigation of an on-board computer based on the detected steering wheel angle.

  • Publication number: 20070001460
Abstract: A magneto-turbine power generating system allows for the clean, efficient generation of excess electrical power on a small or large scale. The magneto-turbine power generating system is a self-contained system that generates power greatly in excess of the system's needs, thereby allowing the system to act as an energy source for other products requiring electrical energy. A flywheel combining magnetic and turbine power generating capabilities allows for a clean source of reusable energy. The use of a magneto flywheel provides an electrical generating system capable of starting without need of an extrinsic electrical source. Once the magneto flywheel generates a low-level of electrical power, the turbine system is powered to increase the power generation capabilities of the system.

  • Publication number: 20050236901
Abstract: An exchanger switch for use with a plurality of batteries that extends the useful, life of the batteries. In a generator, a first battery can provide power to an external load while also providing power to recharge a second battery. When the first battery is depleted to a certain voltage level, the exchanger switch is activated and the second battery can begin providing power to the external load. The exchanger switch also directs a portion of the power from the second battery to recharging the first battery. The exchanger switch allows the generator to continue providing power to the external load without interruption. Using the batteries as alternating power sources allows the exchanger switch to increase the useful life of the batteries.
