  • Patent number: 9108021
Abstract: A septum is disclosed that can be utilized in a catheter assembly to selectively seal an opening in the catheter assembly. The septum has a tube portion and a plug portion. The plug portion has a slit extending through it. The septum can transition from a non-collapsed state to a collapsed state. When the septum is in a non-collapsed state, the plug portion is offset from the tube portion such that some of the length of the slit extends outward from the distal end of the tube portion. When the septum transitions to the collapsed state, the plug portion is moved inward into the internal cavity such that some of the length of the slit may or may not extend outward from the distal end of the tube portion.

  • Publication number: 20150208654
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the control of pests that cause damage to crop plants. The invention relates to methods and compositions for enhancing invertebrate protection of a plant or reducing the development of resistance to diamides in invertebrates comprising the use of ryanodine receptor agonists. In some embodiments, this includes methods of using mixtures of ryanodine receptor agonists with other modes of pest resistance, such as other pesticidal compounds and/or transgenic pest resistant crop plants. Optionally, biological inoculants may be used to enhance overall plant health.

  • Patent number: 7883146
Abstract: A seating arrangement in which a modular seat/console that moves between a first space between front seats, an intermediate position, and a second space between rear seats. The seat/console may function as a seat in the second space, or in the intermediate position. In the intermediate position, the seat/console in the seat configuration may advantageously be used to support a child safety seat. The seat/console may also be configured as a console in either the rear seat, intermediate, or front seat positions. The seat/console is provided with an adjustable height support.

  • Patent number: 7677656
Abstract: A center seat console that moves between a forward position between front seats, an intermediate position, and a rear position between rear seats is disclosed. The seat/console may function as a seat in the rear seat position, or in the intermediate position. In the intermediate position, the seat/console in the seat configuration may advantageously be used to support a child safety seat. The seat/console may also be configured as a console in either the rear seat, intermediate, or front seat positions. The seat/console is provided with an adjustable height support that permits the seat/console to be lowered to fit beneath arm rests assembled to the front seats when it is desired to place the console between the front seats.

  • Patent number: 7588282
Abstract: An automotive vehicle seat includes a seat back and a seat bottom. The seat back and seat bottom are carried by bracketry. The seat back is foldable relative to the seat bottom. As the seat back folds toward the seat bottom, the seat bottom moves away from a rear of the bracketry. Once folded, the seat back, seat bottom and bracketry may tumble toward a front of a vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20060109166
Abstract: A method of generating aircraft tactical alerts includes receiving track positions for two aircraft; receiving trajectories and static conformance bounds for the two aircraft; receiving current position for the two aircraft; generating tactical check segments and variable conformance bounds for the two aircraft based on the current position, the static conformance bounds, trajectory, adapted data, and the track positions; and generating a tactical alert if the variable conformance bounds overlap within a specified lookahead time. The variable conformance bounds can be either symmetric or asymmetric about projected tracks. The variable conformance bounds can use step functions, or continuously widening bounds up to the static conformance bounds. The variable conformance bounds can be based on modifying the static conformance bounds in two or three spatial dimensions.
