    Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery module and a method of manufacturing a battery module. The battery module comprising: housing having a bottom side and an upper side; a plurality of battery cells each comprising a terminal end; a middle housing divider configured to divide the housing in an upper chamber and a bottom chamber, the middle housing divider comprising a plurality of cell openings configured to receive a respective battery cell of the plurality of battery cells so that a first portion of the battery cell is in the upper chamber and a second portion of the battery cell is in the bottom chamber. The plurality of battery cells is adhered to the middle housing divider so as to seal the upper and the bottom chamber and fix the battery cells.
