  • Publication number: 20250273765
Abstract: A battery system includes accommodation chambers on top of each other in a housing with side portions, each one of the accommodation chambers including cells and a cooling plate; a cooling manifold inside the housing including a vertically extending portion that vertically extends along a side portion of the housing, the cooling manifold being connected to each of the cooling plates; a leakage protection member enclosing at least a portion of the cooling manifold, the leakage protection member extending toward a bottom portion of the housing along the cooling manifold such that coolant that is leaked from the cooling manifold is drained through the leakage protection member toward the bottom portion of the housing; and a detection unit including at least one leakage sensor positioned at the bottom portion of the housing and configured to detect coolant drained toward the bottom portion by the leakage protection member.

  • Patent number: 6988508
Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatic open- and closed-loop control apparatus (10) for flows of pressure fluid, having one inlet conduit (14), two outlet conduits (16, 18), and one venting conduit (20), and also having a valve piston (90) mediating between these conduits and mounted in a valve chamber (92), and to a method for open- and closed-loop control of flows of pressure fluid. It is proposed that by means of a pneumatically driven valve piston (92), with a predeterminable time constant, one outlet conduit (16, 18) each of the pneumatic open- and closed-loop control apparatus (10) is connected to the single inlet conduit (14), while the other outlet conduit is simultaneously connected to the venting conduit (20).

  • Publication number: 20050242644
Abstract: The invention relates to a method to act upon at least two recipients (10, 11, 12) of a pneumatic system in an alternating manner, in particular a pneumatic massage system of a motor vehicle seat, with a pressure medium flow. It is proposed in accordance with the invention that at least one, first air cushion (10, 11, 12) that serves as a recipient (10, 11, 12) be filled with a gaseous working fluid, while the working fluid is actively suctioned off from at least one other, second air cushion (10, 11, 12). The corresponding pneumatic circuit is connected in such a way that the at least one, first recipient (10, 11, 12) is connected to the at least one, second recipient (10, 11, 12) via connecting means (14, 16, 18, 20, 88, 90, 94, 96, 98) and a feed pump (22).

  • Patent number: 6625980
Abstract: The invention creates a vehicle pneumatics overpressure regulating circuit 1 of a supply device of a pneumatic consumer 5 in a vehicle with an operating pressure. The overpressure circuit 1 has a compressed air source 3, which furnishes compressed air for the consumer 5; a pressure switch 8, by means of which the compressed air source 3 is turned on and/or off to supply the consumer 5 with compressed air; and a supply line 4, by way of which compressed air can be carried from the compressed air source 3 to the consumer 5. The pressure switch 8 can be subjected to a measured pressure via a pneumatic measurement line 7, which is separate from the supply line, and this measured pressure characterizes a state of the operating pressure of the consumer. As a result, extremely precise regulation of the requisite operating pressure is successfully achieved.
