  • Patent number: 11925335
Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a rotatable electrical coupling assembly having a first part and a second part that electrically couple and rotate relative to each other. The second part is carried by and rotates with a tube collar coupled to a transducer. A portion of the transducer is inserted through an aperture of the second part, but does not contact the second part. The first part of the assembly may electrically couple to the second part via pogo pins, brush contacts, or ball bearings. Alternatively, the first part may comprise conductive channels formed in the casing. The second part may comprise a rotatable drum with a conductive trace. In some versions, one or more components may comprise MID components. In another version, the rotatable electrical coupling assembly comprises a rotatable PC board and brush contact. Further still, a circuit board may be provided with the transducer inside a transducer casing.

  • Patent number: 10458133
Abstract: A perimeter warning system is provided having a plurality of substantive stand bases and stanchions, which when combined together with a flag line provide a means to demark the perimeter of a surface across which there is danger. The stand bases include a surface onto which an insertion sleeve is placed, for holding the stanchion stably, and an opening symmetrically equidistant from the center of the surface of the stand base from the sleeve. In this way, stand bases can be stacked together with the sleeve of one placed in the opening in the surface of the other for stability. The system includes storage and transportation elements; wherein the surface of the base stand defines an opening through which the pillar of a storage unit can be threaded to stack the plurality of base stands together onto the storage element. Stanchions are provided with storage boxes configured to stack together neatly and stably.

  • Patent number: 7900811
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for producing components with internal architectures, and more particularly, this invention relates to a method for producing structures with microchannels via the use of diffusion bonding of stacked laminates. Specifically, the method involves weakly bonding a stack of laminates forming internal voids and channels with a first generally low uniaxial pressure and first temperature such that bonding at least between the asperites of opposing laminates occurs and pores are isolated in interfacial contact areas, followed by a second generally higher isostatic pressure and second temperature for final bonding. The method thereby allows fabrication of micro-channel devices such as heat exchangers, recuperators, heat-pumps, chemical separators, chemical reactors, fuel processing units, and combustors without limitation on the fin aspect ratio.

  • Publication number: 20090095393
Abstract: A tire chain assembly is provided that includes a disk that is mounted between dual wheels on a vehicle. A tire chain having a number of cross chains is then releaseably attached to the disk and across the tread surface of the tire using disk connectors that are attached to the end of the cross chains and are interconnected in key slots in the disk. The tire chain can be removed by simply disconnecting the disk connectors from the disk. The tire chain can be installed and removed while the vehicle is stationary.

  • Patent number: 3967770
Abstract: An interlock for an eye setting machine insures the simultaneous presence of eye fasteners in each station of the eye setting press. Microswitch feeler elements at each station are connected in series with a relay coil. A normally closed contact of the relay is connected in a series circuit including a normally-open micro-switch, following a cam on the press, a solenoid for disengaging a clutch to stop the press from operating, and a normally closed manual pushbutton switch for overriding the interlock.
