  • Patent number: 11915095
Abstract: A cable management system includes multiple cables, each having a unique identifier associated therewith and each including first and second barcodes including the unique identifier, the first barcode located proximate a first end of the cable, the second barcode located proximate a second end of the cable. The system also includes a barcode scanner to scan barcodes of the cables, the barcode scanner including a clip to receive one of the cables. The system also includes a mobile computing device having a processor, data storage medium, communication unit, and user interface including a display. The mobile computing device is configured to receive via the user interface first end location information for a first cable, receive from the barcode scanner the first barcode of the first cable, and save and display the first end location information in association with the unique identifier of the first cable included in the first barcode.

  • Patent number: 9897656
Abstract: A method for sensing a welded relay contact when breaking both sides of a power line on a HVAC device including the steps: applying a first signal to one of a pair of switching devices; electronically sensing a second signal, with a sensing device, whether the other of said two switching devices is welded closed; and sending a third signal from the sensing device indicative of whether the other of said two switching devices is welded closed.

  • Patent number: 5722822
Abstract: Method and apparatus are disclosed for checking the responsiveness of a circuit which senses the presence of a flame produced by a burner within a furnace. A programmed processor associated with the circuit measures the time the circuit takes to indicate the presence of a flame. A warning is generated when the measured time exceeds a predetermined allowable time. The allowable time is determined by taking into account the decreased responsiveness of an electrode that indicates the presence of the burner flame.

  • Patent number: 5720604
Abstract: A flame sensor senses the intensity of a pilot flame to determine whether main burner ignition has occurred in a gas furnace. The sensor includes a computer which is operative to trigger the sensing of the flame intensity following the provision of gas to the main burner. Circuitry associated with the computer preferably provides an indication of the pilot flame intensity to the computer through a measurement of the electrical conductivity of the pilot flame following provision of gas to the main burner.

  • Patent number: 4051525
Abstract: A surveillance camera assembly is mounted upon a selectively raisable and lowerable support assembly provided on a hollow pole shaft. A coaxial cable is connected to the surveillance camera and extends upwardly to pass over a sheave assembly and downwardly into the interior of the pole shaft for fixed engagement with a transition plate fixedly provided on raising and lowering cable means within the pole shaft. The terminal end of the coaxial cable is located below the transition plate and is provided with an electrical plug element so as to permit engagement of the pole-mounted coaxial cable to corresponding ground-mounted coaxial cable means when the transition plate is proximate to ground level and the surveillance camera is in its raised position proximate to the top of the pole shaft.
