  • Publication number: 20230356128
Abstract: A filter assembly has a housing. The housing has an inner body and an outer body surrounding at least a portion of the inner body. The inner body has a base extending in a lateral direction and a first sidewall extending axially outward from the base. The inner body defines a cavity. The first sidewall defines a perimetric surface around the cavity. A first filter media extends across the perimetric surface and across the cavity. An adsorbent is disposed in the cavity. The outer body has a second sidewall laterally outward from and surrounding the first sidewall. The second sidewall spans at least 50% of the axial length of the first sidewall. The outer body has a first axial end and a second axial end and a retainer portion extending laterally inward from the first axial end. The retainer portion is positioned axially outward from the first filter media.

  • Publication number: 20210106935
Abstract: The current technology relates to substrate treatments, treated substrates, and filters. Treated substrates can have a treated surface that defines a pattern and/or gradient among untreated surface areas. A treated surface area can have a higher roll off angle for a 50 ?L water droplet when the surface is immersed in toluene that the untreated surface areas. Substrates can be treated by, for example, exposing a substrate surface and/or fibers to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. UV radiation can be applied to surfaces via a mask, lens, waveguide, reflector, as examples. UV radiation can be applied to surfaces at varying intensities, which can create a treatment gradient.

Abstract: An adsorbent construction for use in an electronic enclosure is disclosed. In certain embodiments the adsorbent construction comprises an adsorbent material and a polymeric material substantially surrounding the adsorbent material. The polymeric material regulates the flow of water vapor into and out of the adsorbent material. In example implementations one or more openings are present in the polymeric cover, the openings permitting flow of water vapor through the polymeric cover. A filter material can cover the opening in the polymeric cover. The adsorbent material can comprise, for example, activated carbon, silica gel, or a combination thereof.
