  • Publication number: 20100308047
Abstract: The apparatus of the present invention implements a canteen cup cover that can be deployed in conjunction with the standard military issue canteen and cup. The canteen cup cover of the present invention is most preferably manufactured from a durable metallic material, such as stainless steel. The canteen cup cover has one or more integrated slit-like apertures and may be selectively placed over and removed from the canteen cup, thereby providing enhanced functionality for the canteen cup for certain cooking applications. In addition, the most preferred embodiments of the canteen cup cover comprise an integrated signaling mirror. A specific cooking method, using the canteen cup cover is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080105678
Abstract: The apparatus of the present invention implements a cover that can be deployed in conjunction with the standard military issue canteen and cup. The canteen cup cover is most preferably manufactured from a durable and flexible food-grade material. The cross-section of the cover features a ridge and groove arrangement that has been specifically configured to receive the edge of the canteen cup, which typically defines approximately a 45° angle with the body portion of the canteen cup. The cover may be selectively attached to and removed from the canteen cup, thereby providing enhanced functionality for the canteen cup.

  • Patent number: 4340879
Abstract: A personnel in and out indicator device which is programmable with information regarding the in or out status and time of arrival or departure of employees at a location. The device consists of a frame on which are mounted a series of manually operable personnel indicating switches. Each of such switches represents a particular person or persons in respect of which information is to be recorded or displayed. A further series of manually operable switches is exposed on the frame, each of these switches representing a particular time. A memory means is electrically associated with the personnel indicating and time indicating switches to receive and store information received from these switches.

  • Patent number: 4257306
Abstract: A small lightweight electronic device to indicate the finger positions of a fretted stringed instrument represented by the musical intervals or chords in any key. The device has a series of on-off switches representing each of the desired musical keys and a series of switches representing the individual musical intervals over a desired range. The necessary circuitry is provided between these switches and a display of the frets and strings of the instrument such that the finger positions represented by a chord or series of musical intervals in a selected key are visually indicated on the display. Professional musicians and students or teachers of music for fretted stringed instruments can, using this device, visualize the location of intervals or chords of any key.

  • Patent number: 4064782
Abstract: An electronic digital display device for identifying musical notes comprising a series of manually operable on-off key selector switches, a series of manually operable on-off note selector switches, note indicator means visually associated with the note and key selector switches and an appropriate circuit network. One key selector switch is associated with each desired key and each of the selector switches is exclusively and not simultaneously operable in the "on" position. One note selector switch is associated with each desired note and each of the note selector switches is simultaneously operable with one or more of the other selector switches when in the "on" position. The circuit network has a first portion comprising a plurality of circuit branches, one branch associated with each key selector switch. Each of the circuit branches extends to each of the note selector switches and is exclusively actuated by its associated key selector switch.

  • Patent number: 4048634
Abstract: A small lightweight electronic device to indicate the note of a keyboard instrument represented by any musical interval in any key. The device has a series of on-off switches representing each of the desired musical keys and a series of switches representing the individual values of musical intervals over a desired range, preferably two octaves. The necessary circuitry is provided between these switches and a keyboard display such that any particular note represented by a musical interval of selected value in a selected key is indicated on the keyboard display. Students and teachers of music for keyboard instruments can, using this device, visualize the location of notes or chords in any key and transpositions of notes or chords from one key to another.
