  • Publication number: 20180144315
Abstract: A first set of records is identified as being associated with a first asset. A second set of records is obtained, with the second set of records being associated with a second asset. A confidence score is computed based at least in part on the first set of records. As a result of the confidence score exceeding a threshold, an interface is caused to prompt a user associated with the first asset to confirm control of the second asset. In response to receiving a confirmation via the interface, a message is sent to a destination associated with the second asset. A response received is determined to indicate that the second asset is controlled by the user. The second set of records is associated additionally with the first asset. The interface is updated to display details about the first set of records and the second set of records.

  • Patent number: 8620664
Abstract: A system and method for processing voice requests from a user for accessing information on a computerized network and delivering information from a script server and an audio server in the network in audio format. A voice user interface subsystem includes: a dialog engine that is operable to interpret requests from users from the user input, communicate the requests to the script server and the audio server, and receive information from the script server and the audio server; a media telephony services (MTS) server, wherein the MTS server is operable to receive user input via a telephony system, and to transfer the user input to the dialog engine; and a broker coupled between the dialog engine and the MTS server. The broker establishes a session between the MTS server and the dialog engine and controls telephony functions with the telephony system.

  • Publication number: 20070118054
Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring vital signs for the prediction and treatment of physiological ailments are provided. The methods and systems may be applied to the monitoring of a broad range of physiological ailments or “episodes,” including, but not limited to, asthma, hypoglycemia, coughing, edema, sleep apnea, labor, and REM sleep stages, among others. The methods employ sensors, for example, non-contact sensors, adapted to detect vital signs, such as heart rate or respiration rate, to produce signals that can be analyzed for trends, for deviations, or for comparison to prior conditions or criteria. The sensors may be positioned whereby the subject need not be viewed by the health care provider. Some methods and systems employ the use of “scores” based upon the combination of sensed vital signs or based upon a comparison of the vital signs to criteria.

  • Publication number: 20060241510
Abstract: A method is provided for predicting an onset of an asthma attack. The method includes sensing at least one parameter of a subject without contacting or viewing the subject or clothes the subject is wearing, and predicting the onset of the asthma attack at least in part responsively to the sensed parameter. Also provided is a method for predicting an onset of an episode associated with congestive heart failure (CHF), including sensing at least one parameter of a subject without contacting or viewing the subject or clothes the subject is wearing, and predicting the onset of the episode at least in part responsively to the sensed parameter. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Publication number: 20060136744
Abstract: A method and apparatus for electro-biometric identity recognition or verification that produces and stores a first biometric signature that identifies a specific individual by forming the difference between a representation of the heartbeat pattern of the specific individual and a stored representation of common features of the heartbeat patterns of a plurality of individuals; after the producing step, the method and apparatus obtains a representation of the heartbeat pattern of a selected individual and produces a second biometric signature by forming the difference between the heartbeat pattern of the selected individual and the stored representation of common features of the heartbeat patterns of the plurality of individuals; it then compares the second biometric signature with the first biometric signature to determine whether the selected individual is the specific individual.
