  • Patent number: 11386153
Abstract: A flexible tagging and searching system can be configured to associate tags with the input data to enable a search of the input data. The flexible tagging and searching system can receive user data and determine an identifier associated with the user data. The system can compare the identifier with other identifiers to determine that the identifier is unique. After determining that the identifier is unique, the system can associate a critical tag with the user data and store the critical tag in a database. Then the system can associate a non-critical tag with the user data. In some instances, the system can return query results such as a set of tag data and/or a set of data items.

  • Patent number: 10044952
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an adaptive shading correction method for correcting an image for lens shading, including segmenting the image into a plurality of blocks of pixels and identifying hue-flat blocks with a relatively low hue variance, where the hue-flat blocks are clustered into at least one cluster based on a spatial distribution of the blocks. Selected modification parameters for modifying an average shading mesh are identified by modifying the average shading mesh along a plurality of dimensions using a plurality of modification parameters, and processing the at least one cluster with the average shading mesh as modified so as to identify the selected modification parameters. The average shading mesh is modified using the selected modification parameters to generate a shading correction mesh, which is used to correct the image for lens shading.

  • Patent number: 8118738
Abstract: A vaginal speculum includes a frame and a first handle assembly pivotally mounted to the frame. The frame defines an opening between a first blade that is attachable to the frame and a second blade that is attachable to the frame opposite of the first blade, and a hinge assembly configured to flex the frame to selectively change a size of the opening. The first handle assembly includes a lever portion and a blade portion coupled to the lever portion. The blades have a proximal end attachable to the blade portion and a distal end portion spaced from the proximal end. When in a first collapsed insertion state, the hinge assembly collapses the frame and the first blade contacts the second blade. When in a second deployed state the hinge assembly expands the frame and the first blade is spaced apart from the second blade.
