Patent number: 12043079Abstract: A shock absorber for a vehicle includes an inner tube at least partially defining an inner fluid compartment and an outer tube enclosing at least in part the inner tube therein. Together, the inner tube and the outer tube at least partially define an outer fluid compartment therebetween. The inner tube defines a bypass zone having a plurality of bypass apertures that fluidly communicate the inner fluid compartment with the outer fluid compartment. A piston is movably mounted within the inner tube and moves in compression and in rebound. The piston defines a piston passage extending through the piston for permitting fluid flow between a first side and second side of the piston. An electronically controlled valve is connected to the piston and controls fluid flow through the piston passage. A method for controlling the shock absorber is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2019Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS INC.Inventor: Daniel Leclerc

Publication number: 20230325448Abstract: An information integration system may include a set of integration services embodied on one or more server machines in a computing environment. The set of integration services may include connectors communicatively connected to disparate information systems. The connectors are configured for integrating data utilizing a common model comprising a content management interoperability services data model, common property definitions, and a common security model particularly defined for use by the set of integration services. Responsive to a user query to search disparate information systems or a subset thereof, an application may communicate metadata of interest contained in the user query to a search engine which locates, via a unified index, requested data from the disparate information systems or a subset thereof. The search engine returns search results referencing the requested data to the application which interprets the search results and displays a visualization thereof on a client device.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2023Publication date: October 12, 2023Inventors: Daniel Leclerc, Maxime Dubois, Alex Dowgailenko, Jody Hupton Palmer, Alexander Lilko, Steve Molloy

Publication number: 20230315773Abstract: In an auto-classification system, example documents whose content exemplifies a content category or classification can be imported into a classification model. The classification model is tested to assess accuracy. Based on the testing, metrics or other information can be provided as feedback to a user. The user can iteratively refine the classification model and keep re-running the classifications to view how each change to the classification model improves accuracy. If no user refinement is desired, the auto-classification system classifies documents utilizing the classification model. This technology enhances the overall transparency and defensibility of the auto-classification process.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2023Publication date: October 5, 2023Inventors: Charles-Olivier Simard, Alex Bowyer, Daniel Leclerc, Steve Molloy
