  • Patent number: 9574688
Abstract: First and second conduits are joined in a manner to control electrical resistance of a conduit circuit. A cylindrical section of an adapter is placed onto an end of the first conduit. A part of the cylindrical section is crimped onto the first conduit while a spacing block made of a polymer material having a previously chosen conductivity is positioned around the end of the first conduit and clipped onto the cylindrical section. The crimping locks the spacing block to the adapter and deforms an assembly comprising the clipping pieces of the spacing block and the adapter, so as to immobilize the clipping pieces relative to each other in a direction parallel to an axis of the cylindrical section of the adapter, and such that an exterior surface of the first conduit engages interior surfaces of the spacing block and the adapter.

  • Patent number: 9400068
Abstract: A pipe connection accessory 1 comprising a sleeve 4 designed to be crimped onto one end of a pipe tube and designed to engage at least indirectly with another pipe element, is characterized in that that surface 4A of the sleeve which is intended to come into crimped contact with the end of the tube comprises an adhesive-coated portion 10 comprising an adhesive made up of at least two components, one of which is encapsulated. This adhesive-coated portion is advantageously set back, preferably with projecting collars.

  • Publication number: 20120174383
Abstract: This invention concerns a process for joining at least a first and a second conduit so as to control the electrical resistance of a circuit of conduits characterized in that it comprises of the following steps placing a cylindrical section of an adapter (220) onto an end of the first conduit (500). crimping at least one part of the cylindrical section onto the first conduit, with a spacing block (100) of a polymeric material having a preselected conductivity being positioned on the extension of the end of the first conduit and clipped to the cylindrical section, with the crimping serving to lock the spacing block with respect to the adapter. joining the spacing block to the end of the second conduit.
