The hose enters the main frame through a frame opening and passes through an inside of the main frame above a bottom bracket. The hose exits the main frame through a front opening and enters the fork assembly through a fork opening facing toward the front opening. The fork assembly can also include a nose piece in front of the headset bearing, wherein the hose passes between headset bearing and the nose piece. The fork assembly can also include a handlebar and a riser supporting the handlebar, wherein the hose passes through the riser.

A rear frame is movable relative to the main frame, a pivot link couples the main frame to the rear frame, and a spring assembly couples a portion of the pivot link to the main frame. The pivot link comprises a left link member, a right link member, and a link bridge connecting the left link member to the right link member. Preferably, the link bridge is positioned rearward of a seat tube on the main frame. The rear frame comprises a seatstay bridge connecting a left and right seatstays. The main frame can support a crank assembly having a chainring offset from the central plane on the same side as the reinforcing strut.

In one embodiment, the tube includes spaced-apart first and second walls, with the tube hole through the first wall and a threaded hole through the second wall and aligned with the tube hole. Preferably, the battery mounting pin includes a threaded end, and the battery mounting pin is positioned through the tube hole and through the battery hole with the threaded end threaded into the threaded hole. The invention is also embodied in a method of mounting a battery to an ebike including the steps of aligning the battery hole with the tube hole and inserting a battery mounting pin through the tube hole and completely through the battery hole.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a bicycle comprising a wheel, a frame including a wheel support supported by the wheel, a motor mounted to the frame, and a speed sensor mounted to the wheel support. Preferably, the wheel is a rear wheel and the wheel support is a rear wheel support. The speed sensor is positioned to sense rotation of the rear wheel. In one embodiment, the frame can also include a chainstay and a seatstay, and the rear wheel support couples the chainstay to the seatstay. Preferably, the rear wheel support includes an inner face, and the speed sensor is secured to the inner face. For example, the rear wheel support can be a left rear wheel support and the entirety of the speed sensor is not visible from a left side of the bicycle.
