The systems and methods may involve at least one processor that is configured to maintain at least one table containing rows, receive a first selection of at least one cell in the at least one table, generate a graphical representation associated with the first selection of at least one other cell, generate a first selection-dependent link between the at least one table and the graphical representation, receive a second selection of at least one cell in the at least one table, alter the graphical representation based on the second selection, and generate a second selection-dependent link between the at least one table and the graphical representation.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for automatically filtering data in complex tables are disclosed. The systems and methods may involve at least one processor that is configured to display multiple headings including a first heading and a second heading, receive a first selection of a first cell associated with the first heading, wherein the first cell may include a first category indicator, receive a second selection of a second cell associated with the first heading, wherein the second cell may include a second category indicator, receive a third selection of a third cell associated with the second heading, wherein the third cell may include a third category indicator, generate a logical filter for the complex table, and, in response to application of the logical filter, to cause a display of a filtered collection of items from the first group that contain the third category indicator.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for self-monitoring software usage to optimize performance are disclosed. The systems and methods may involve at least one processor configured to: maintain a table; present to an entity a plurality of tools for manipulating data in the table; monitor tool usage by the entity to determine at least one tool historically used by the entity; compare the at least one tool historically used by the entity with information relating to the plurality of tools to thereby identify at least one alternative tool in the plurality of tools whose substituted usage is configured to provide improved performance over the at least one historically used tool; and present to the entity during a table use session a recommendation to use the at least one alternative tool.

Abstract: Systems and methods for graphically summarizing percentage make-up of category indicators in columns of a table are disclosed. A system may include at least one processor configured to maintain the table with rows and columns defining cells containing the category indicators and cause a display of a table gauge, wherein the table gauge includes a plurality of graphical representations of a plurality of category indicators contained in a grouping of the cells, and wherein each of the graphical representations may be sized to correspond to a percentage of an associated category indicator. The processor may receive a table update that alters at least one category indicator in at least one of the cells of the grouping of cells, and alter a graphical representation of the table gauge in response to the table update to change a size of at least one of the plurality of graphical representations.

The systems and methods may involve maintaining a data structure including a plurality of tables, each table of the plurality of tables including a plurality of rows and columns, with each of the plurality of columns having an associated column heading; receiving a request to consolidate information from at least two of the plurality of tables, wherein the at least two of the plurality of tables include similar columns with differing headings and a common data type; performing an analysis of data in the similar columns to determine that the data in the similar columns share a common characteristic; aggregating information from the similar columns; and outputting the aggregation of information in a manner associating information from the similar columns.

Abstract: Systems and methods for organizing status-based tasks in tablature are disclosed. A system may include at least one processor configured to maintain a plurality of task tables for a plurality of entities, wherein each task table of the plurality of task tables contains a plurality of tasks, each task being defined by a row of cells. The processor may configure a cell associated with each task in each task table to maintain a status value, and may output a signal to display an aggregate table consolidating, from the plurality of task tables of the plurality of entities, a list of tasks that share a common status value.

A system may include at least one processor configured to receive an association of a unit capacity per time period to each of a plurality of resources. The processor may receive an assignment of a plurality of items to each of the plurality of resources and receive an assignment of units to each of the plurality of items The process may output a display signal for presenting in a common visualization, a resource utilization indicator for each of the plurality of resources, wherein each displayed resource utilization indicator compares aggregated assigned units to the unit capacity of the resource.

A system may include at least one processor configured to display a table of items including a plurality of cells, wherein at least some of the plurality of cells may include item-associated alphanumeric data, and wherein at least one of the plurality of cells includes an item-associated variable time-based graphic representing item progress. The process may access an indicator of a current point in time, determine an extent of progress at the current point in time, and may alter, in a display of the table, the item-associated variable time-based graphic to correspond to the current point in time to thereby reflect, within the at least one of the plurality of cells adjacent to at least one cell containing the item-associated alphanumeric data, a graphical indication of the extent of progress at the current point in time.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically applying changed templates across user-facing applications are disclosed. A system may include at least one processor configured to store a customized template in a repository and integrate the customized template into the user-facing applications, wherein the integrated customized template enables tailoring of data associated with the user-facing applications into which the template is integrated. The processor may update the customized template, push the updated customized template to user-facing applications in which the customized template was integrated, and enable, via the pushed update, a simultaneous change in tailoring of data within each of the user-facing applications in which the customized template was integrated.

A system may include at least one processor configured to present a table with cells defined by horizontal rows and vertical rows, wherein one of said horizontal rows and vertical rows defines items and another of said horizontal rows and vertical rows defines persons, and wherein a responsibility cell at an intersection of a vertical row and a horizontal row associates at least one particular person with a particular item. The processor may receive an input, associated with the responsibility cell, of at least one address linked to an account of at least one person associated with the item, receive a change made in an item row, and in response to the change in the item row, automatically access the at least one address in the responsibility cell, and automatically send a notification via the link to the at least one address.

A system may include at least one processor configured to maintain a first table with a first item with a first status and a second item with a second status, and a second table with a third item with the first status and a fourth item with the second status. A graphical indicator may include a first graphical element aggregating, based on a shared first status, the first item and the third item, and a second graphical element aggregating, based on a shared second status, the second item and the fourth item. In response to a selection of the first graphical element, a third table may display with representations of the first and third items. Abstract: Methods, computing systems and computer program products implement embodiments of the present invention that include associating a token with a computing device, defining preferences for the computing device, and conveying, by the computing device, the token and the preferences to an event processing system. Upon the event processing system, an event message from a computing system via a one-way firewall and matching the computing device preferences to the event message, the event processing system can convey the token and the event message to a push notification system. In some embodiments, upon the push notification service receiving the token and the event message, the mobile device can be identified based on the token, and the event message can be conveyed to the computing device. The event messages may include a severity level, and the preferences may include a severity threshold and a message detail level.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for generating crowd-based custom logic units for use in storage management. Responsive to receiving analytic data from a set of storage device managers about how users interact with the set of storage device managers, the analytics data is analyzed in order to gain one or more insights into how users interact with the set of storage device managers. One or more logic units are then generated utilizing the one or more insights. The one or more logic units are then sent to one or more storage device managers in the set of storage device managers in order that the users of the one or more storage device managers utilize the one or more logic units to perform their daily tasks more efficiently.

Abstract: A method for enabling selective field expansion in an electronically displayed table is provided. The method includes rendering at least a portion of the electronic table on a display, the electronic table including a plurality of cells, each cell associated with a unique row and column combination, wherein the rendered portion of the electronic table includes a plurality of cells including at least one edge cell containing information; receiving a user input indicating a direction away from the edge cell; in response to the user input, rendering the edge cell with a width wider than a default width to thereby display more information in the wider width than was displayed in the default width; and upon termination of the user input, rendering the edge cell with the default width.

Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for building complex hierarchical queries. A User Interface (UI) representation of a logical query is received, wherein the UI representation describes object types, relationships between the object types, and attributes of the object types. The UI representation is translated to a logical query. The logical query is converted to data layer calls to retrieve objects having the object types, the relationships between the object types, and the attributes of the object types. The objects are received. Then, a directed graph is generated using the identified objects.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for managing inconsistencies associated with an object in a storage system. Responsive to the object already being associated with a current object group, a match percentage value is determined between characteristics associated with the object and characteristics of the current object group and, for each other object group in a set of object groups, a match percentage value is identified between characteristics of the object and characteristics of each of the other object groups. Responsive to the match percentage value between the characteristics of the object and one or more other object groups being higher than the match percentage value between the characteristics of the object and the characteristics of the current object group, a notification is sent to an administrator. Responsive to receiving an action to be implemented, the action is implemented to at least one of the object or one or more object groups.

The method includes: receiving instructions to generate a new column of a single data type for a first data structure, wherein the first data structure is a column oriented data structure; and storing, based on the instructions, the new column within the column-oriented data structure repository, wherein the column-oriented data structure repository is accessible to at least a second user account.
